Hotel Agua Beach "Adults only"

Another 3 star hotel trying to be a 4 star, but failing badly . the reception is very clean and tidy, the staff are very pleasant and helpful. but the rooms are the matter all together. the door wouldn't lock I got in touch with reception. they said they would send someone up to fix it but never did. the door frame was coming away from the wall plus it was falling down the back, laminated floor that had been put down and not been put down correctly there are gaps in it. the housekeeping is very good. room cleaned everyday. kept clean and tidy best they could. breakfast there is one toaster that comes as a toast at one time. takes forever. do not rotate. just take two slices. so that is AQ. waiting for toast. all the other items are dried out that much that there is no taste. it is very poor quality food. it is supposed to be a four-star hotel. every fast out I've been in that has been someone cooking, omelets and serving fresh food. the good points of the hotel is that it is situated in a perfect position right next to the beach and it is around , restaurants and shops on both sides a minute. walk to anything you need. there is two hot tubs. nice pole. nobody rushing about to put towels on beds and Aaron terrace on the roof

First the positive: the hotel is directly opposite the beautiful beach, the rooms are spacious and the bathroom nice. The staff in the buffet are nice, smiling and helpful. The less positive: Many rooms facing away from the sea view look directly into a wall or a palm tree/mini golf course. Three of my friends had to change rooms because of the sewage smell. The pool area is an incredibly small pool with a total of 18 sunbeds (mostly in the shade). The hot tubs were not in use, although we passed May 1. nor was the rooftop bar. The power was not switched on in the gym, difficult to use the treadmill etc. The bar with entertainment in the evening was so cold and without any charm. The buffet food was yellow/brown bland, almost the same every night, not a four star buffet.

We had a great week stay here bed and breakfast as there are so many restaurants to eat out at. The staff at the hotel are lovely,friendly and helpful. The view from our room was great looking out to sea .only disappointment was the air conditioning very temperamental.

We spent 6 nights bed and breakfast at Hotel Agua Beach in April. On first arrival approximately 13:20pm local time our room wasn’t ready. We left our luggage in the luggage room and were told by the receptionist to come back in an hour and the room would be ready. We returned around 14:30 and were given the keys to room 101. When we went in the room hadn’t been cleaned, beds etc slept in so had to go back to reception and were given room 105. That’s the negatives. After that we had a brilliant stay. The location of the hotel is excellent. The hotel sits in front of the beautiful beach. To the left of the hotel there are numerous restaurants and a few bars. It’s only 15-20 walk into Magaluf to the bars etc so we walked there every afternoon for drinks and spent the nights in the restaurants and bars close to the hotel. The pool area is a little suntrap and very quiet. Breakfast wasn’t great but enough to get by for the time we were there. The staff in the restaurant were excellent and attentive. The bar man in the hotel bar was superb experimenting with cocktails and asking for my wife’s feedback. The hotel bar overlooks the bay and is beautiful on an early evening for a few drinks while people watching. One hint…there was only 4 coat hangers each in the wardrobe so I’d advise taking more with you. We are already talking about returning next year.

Perfect location ... for the beach, restaurants, shops & bus stop to the rest of the island. No complaints about the hotel at all ..... room great, breakfast superb and hotel staff all friendly. Will happily use the Agua Beach again.

Went for a short break (4 days) and can quite honestly say it was excellent from start to finish , great staff, great food , really clean and beautiful views . Location excellent for local restaurants and bars but peaceful as well , virtually on the beach with access to walks around the coast

I've always wanted to stay at this hotel and it didn't disappoint. Had a double room for sole use and a bonus with a double bed, wonderful. The room was lovely as was the bathroom. Staff were very nice and helpful and the bar terrace excellent. Am already looking to book again for September.

A great hotel in a great location. Convenient for the beach, the local buses, shops and bars. The food choice and service in the restaurant is spot on. The staff are super friendly whenever or wherever you meet them. Everyday Anna would welcome us with a smile and a chat. I would question the 4 star rating as the hotel has unfortunately been built using the cheapest possible materials and these are not standing up to general wear and tear! The laminate flooring in the corridors, for example, is suffering from damage due to years of mopping and needs replacement with a more suitable material. The decking around the pool is held with rusty screws and quite a few door frames have been affected by water. Did it spoil our holiday? No, would we stay here again? Definitely

The Hotel is lovely and clean . Staff are friendly and helpful .Anna is especially Helpful . The cleaner was so helpful and always smiling
