Yes, the rooms are small - that's Paris for you. Yes, the lift is tiny - that's Paris for you. We were in a double room on the second floor overlooking rue Lepic. We were worried it might be noisy but it was surprisingly quiet. In contrast to some comments we didn't find the room cold, maybe they have found the heating controllers. If anything it was a little too warm. Our room was small, getting in to the bathroom was particularly involved, but it was absolutely fine. We just needed somewhere to stay and the location and price were perfect. Breakfast was interesting - pre-order the night before and served in a little room on the first floor. The ability to turn out fresh, hot dishes in a tiny, tiny space should not be underestimated. However, it was a bit of a challenge as there is no control over how many people book breakfast at the same time which can mean waiting around a bit. I would happily stay there again, just possibly not bother with the breakfast as there are plenty of places to eat nearby but it was convenient on this trip. All the staff we dealt with were very polite & helpful, everything we encountered was clean & comfortable.
