This hotel is great, I had the best experience! I would like to say a big thank you to Eleni who upgraded my room free of charge to a suite for my wife’s birthday treat! They also supplied balloons and a birthday cake which was a lovely surprise for her. Due to the weather my luxury boat trip got cancelled on my wife’s birthday however Zoe help me organise another beautiful day which was amazing! Very cute boutique hotel, nice food, all the staff are very friendly the hotel was very clean and I received great service. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely be returning Thank you all!

We had a great stay here. It’s a little bit out of the way, which we loved, as it’s super peaceful - although it’s only a 10-15 minute bus or taxi ride in to the main town. You can also walk 5 minutes to a very quiet beach, which was great for snorkelling and relaxing in the sun. The rooms are quite small, but we personally didn’t feel we needed anything bigger. They’re clean with nice balconies to relax on at night/early in the morning. The thing we loved most about Imperial Palace was the staff. Everyone is so helpful and friendly - nothing is to much trouble. Particularly Irene. I wasn’t feeling too well one night so my partner popped to get me a little bit of dinner and herbal tea. He was so touched by how kind Irene was and the fact she reassured us that she was on hand should we need anything, including a Dr. What a lovely lady. Also shout out to Carolina, who cooked up a great omelette for us every morning. Such a friendly lady. We would definitely recommend this hotel to couples looking for a relaxing break. Cannot fault this hotel one bit, we had the most relaxing holiday all thanks to the amazing staff at the hotel. Me and my partner stayed for a week here to celebrate his 21st birthday, upon arriving I had communications with the hotel to ask if they provided celebration decorations. We entered our room to find balloons and a birthday cake set up, all discretely for my partner - it was amazing. We were offered a room upgrade for only an extra €10 a night! The hotel and rooms are exceptionally clean and well equipped and modern with housekeeping coming each day if wanted for fresh towels and clean bedding. The food here was delicious, with rotaing menus of freshly cooked meats each night, a range of variety in meals and a beautiful salad bar. The only wish I would have liked was more variety in puddings but only as me and my partners are big sweet and chocolate lovers. (There was a shop 5 minutes walk away to grab snacks). We booked two excursions through the hotel, one to Balos lagoon which had incredible views and another on quad safaris (our favourite excursion) all booked and picked up from the hotel reception. We also hired a car from reception for two days, which cost €90 including insurance - amazing service and super easy when renting! Everyone at the hotel is super friendly and makes your experience hassle free, anyone we spoke to was more than happy to try and help our queries. Irene behind reception was incredibly helpful from the day we checked in, personally escorting us to our room, to helping us book excursions - suggestions personal favourite places to go which was a lovely touch and arranging a surprise birthday set up in the room on the day of arrival. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday, the location of this hotel is a 10 minute drive to the main old town - we found renting a car super helpful when getting to hidden gems rather than paying for taxis.

I had the best time staying here. All the staff members are nice and friendly. I felt very welcome and comfortable, especially with being a lone traveler, I was a bit nervous but felt at ease due to the hospitality I received. I would like to specifically thank the lovely ladies, Zoie, Irene and Marika for always going above and beyond ensuring I was happy. We booked 10 days half board at CHC Imperial Palace in August wanting a chilled out holiday and it is exactly what we got! The hotel and rooms were very modern and they were immaculate, the cleaning staff were very friendly and did a great job with the rooms daily. The hotel reception staff were very helpful with information on the local area. We arrived at 1am and they had saved us a plate of pasta which was very welcomed after a long day of travelling! Greek night on the Monday was very fun with dancers and live singers. The hotel was in a perfect location, remote enough that it was peaceful and quiet but a short walk away from a beach (free sun loungers), a little shop, a restaurant/bar and a bus stop to take you into the centre of Rethmyno for only €1.20 each way (buy your tickets at hotel reception). The pool had plenty of sun loungers so there was no problem getting one each day whenever you wanted one. You could purchase food and drinks around the pool and the staff were very attentive, the gyros was delicious! The food was really good, it varied and there was something for everyone - the chef every morning was very friendly making you an omelette. The hotel was absolutely perfect and we came home feeling so relaxed, just what we needed. Thank you to all the staff at CHC Imperial Palace - we hope to see you again soon!

New, cozy hotel. Delicious food. We've got large room with the balcony (Junior suite). The location of the hotel is greet , it is convenient to travel to the places of interest on the island. Nicely maintained small garden and tidy pool with comfy sunbeds. To the sea - 300m, the beach is natural/wild and very cozy, the shore is convenient for swimming. Akrogiali taverna is a very nice restaurant nearby - delicious food and beautiful sea view. I highly recommend this hotel for those traveling around the island by oneself.

We have booked this hotel in last minute situation. It went way above our expectations. Food was delicius, fresh and they offered large variety of different dishesh. Staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful. Hotel itself is very clean, lots of flowers. Overall expierience was great. We will definitelly come back. We recommend this hotel from our hearts.

I stayed in this hotel in September, we wanted a complete chill out week and it did not disappoint. We arrived in the early hours and when we entered our room, we were delighted, as we had been upgraded. I did misinterpret what the man at check -in, I thought he asked if we wanted a restaurant, but after speaking to front desk staff apparently they lay on a cold plate for late arrivals, my mistake. The room was exceptional, the lady who did the housekeeping was thorough and very pleasant. The whole hotel was immaculate. The food was varied and good, continually being restocked. There was something for everyone. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant and a big shout out to Eleni, Irene and Zoe on front desk all of whom were extremely helpful. There is a supermarket, coffee shop and restaurant about a 10 minute walk away. There is a bus stop 200 yards away that takes you into town for 1.20 euro each way. I would highly recommend this family run (and very well run) hotel, especially as it is adult only it was lovely not to having screaming children running around.
