"The rooms were surprisingly nice, considering the somewhat gruff exterior of the hotel. It appeared recently renovated with a nice, inviting tone, good beds and a comfortable bathroom. The location was very close to the city centre, and the breakfast was decent, considering the price for staying. The check-in process was not very convenient. We knew that check-in was not until 4 PM, but we were not aware that the reception did not open until 4 PM- meaning that if you arrive early one should keep oneself preoccupied in the city centre etc. beforehand. It was stressful how the staff had to serve both the pub and the hotel, our receptionist was friendly but appeared stressed and we did not feel we could confiscate his time by asking many questions. One question we did ask however was if the hotel had parking in the parking house nearby-he responded that he didn't know. It turned out that the hotel had their designated parking area close to the elevators to the hotel, but as we were not aware we parked in the very opposite direction and had a long walk with much luggage. That was quite unnecessary. "

"Piteå has a lot of Pizza Places but this one that is hidden in an old town neighborhood definitely stands out. First they have a real wood fire pizza oven that makes Napoli style thin pizzas with the bubbly crispy crust. They have a variety of pizzas that are tomato or pesto based with fresh toppings like truffle salami, heirloom tomatoes and more. They also offer salads and have a wide selection of traditional Swedish baked goods. Definitely recommend this neighborhood gem."
