Bloom! Exclusive Boutique b&b

My girlfriend and I had a lovely romantic getaway here for 5 days and enjoyed it immensely. Frances cooked delicious breakfasts for us every morning with fresh fruit, homemade bread and jams, and accommodated our vegetarian dietary restrictions. The rooftop jacuzzi was perfect for end of the day relaxing. The location was also perfect - in a quiet neighborhood but only 10 minutes away from the beach and La Quinta, the main commercial boardwalk. Finally, he whole place was lovingly designed, and felt very peaceful and cozy. We would stay there again a heartbeat. Definitely check this place out- it’s a gem!

Our visit to Bloom was an exceptional experience making you feel at ease the moment you walk in. This is not a homogenized resort with the usual front desk greeting and rarely seeing the same staff twice, it's a personalized hello with a big, warm and inviting smile from the owner who is noticeably proud of Bloom (as he should be!). The breakfast is outstanding, offering a variety of colors and flavors that cater to all tastes. Each dish was prepared to perfection, combining fresh ingredients with creative presentation showing a true passion for their craft. What really sets Bloom apart is its ability to create a memory. From the clean and well-appointed room to the terrific morning coffee on the patio. All quiet, safe and very walkable to nearly everything you want to experience in Playa Del Carmen. Shortly after our 2 night stay at Bloom we spent the remainder of the week at the Fairmont Mayakoba and while that is truly a 5 star experience, I found myself missing the personal connection we had at Bloom. Playa Del Carmen has many options to consider and if you are reading this review it's because you want something different and are likely worried about being disappointed. DON'T BE!!! Come stay at Bloom, sleep well, wake up welcomed, and experience something completely new. Our stay at Bloom Exclusive Boutique B&B was wonderful! We stayed there for 3 nights during our roundtrip in Yucatan. Bloom is perfectly located in Playa del Carmen. Just outside the busy center, but everything is within walking distance. From here you can also easily visit the island of Cozumel (wonderful for diving). Our host Francis gave many practical tips. Francis' breakfast is the best we tasted in Mexico. Varied and adapted to our wishes. We can definitely recommend this B&B!

we fell in love with this place! and with the owner, he gives such a nice touch to the whole expereince, it is truly a rare find. Upon his warm welcome at arrival and showing us our room, to the whole services of the hotel. It was our first time in Playa and he gave us lots of tips for anything we were interested in. The rooms are nicely appointed, you can tell he had a lot of experience with hotels worldwide. Never i saw these nice gadgets in a bnb ... we had a google home in the room with unlimited access to any music. also the hotel access and the private rooms are both accessed with your unique fingerprint. Apart from feeling very safe, we didnt have to think about keys, which is very comfortable. The daily gourmet breakfasts are not to be missed, we saw that already on the previous comments and are happy to confirm. The more, its a perfect moment to discuss plans for the day and ask tips to Francis. Bloom really made our vacation to something to remember, which probably didnt happen if we stayed elsewhere.

The host is a super creepy guy named Francis which will complain on every single thing you ask of him, so don't you dare show dissatisfaction or he will shame you on ***********. We told him we got engaged, and he blamed us for "Trying to get a discount". When we complained about the room, he blamed us for "Trying to get an upgrade". Here's the story: We were shown two rooms, the one (Which we ordered) suffered from renovation noise, and the other didn't have a working light. Both rooms smelled terribly of mold. When confronted about the smell, rather than acknowledging the issue and offering an alternative or a discount, the manager shrugged it off and asked if we wanted to pay more for a better room. The hotel has a nice rooftop area, but the jacuzzi was cold. Also, the rooms work with fingerprints which is a bit gimmicky and tedious to set up. Others might like it, I don't. P.S there's no reserved parking, so if you're arriving with a car be prepared to pay for street parking.

Sweet little place just a couple of blocks from the main ***** in Playa. My favorite restaurant in Playa is a 10 min walk! The place was clean and felt very safe. The owner was friendly and informative. Would absolutely stay here again. :)

Better than I expected, Francis created a beautiful experience for his customer. From the concept of design to the execution of his service and his dedication. Staying @ Bloom was a relief from being in a mega resort especially during spring break. Privacy was one of my biggest concerns and I got exactly that with my stay at Bloom. The best host you could wish for. Warm, personal, unique! A wonderful chef with attention to detail. We will remember this stay forever. On top tips on where to eat and activities. Even a clothesline integrated into the wall - just everything has been thought of.. Dankeschön Florian& Kristina 🤗😁😊💯

We stayed at Bloom for 4 nights and had a relaxing time. The room was clean, the daily maid service was a great perk if we needed anything, and the neighborhood was quiet in the evenings making it easy to rest. The B&B is walking distance to everything - coffee shops, restaurants, and the beach. Francis' breakfast is also delicious - highly recommend having it while you stay here!
