Sunset Fishermen Beach Resort Playa del Carmen - All Inclusive

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sunset Fisherman. We were mesmerized by the sounds and view of the ocean from wherever we were, from our little patio, to around the pool to the dining experiences. The staff at the Fisherman were ALL very friendly, helpful, and kind - from the front desk to the breakfast/lunch/dinner wait staff to housekeeping. We appreciate all the little things as well like the turn down service at night with chocolates and the way the housekeeping staff made beautiful creations with the bedding. It felt like we were on a cruise but with the benefits of staying in one place. When we wanted to explore, it was a 20-minute walk to the heart of Playa del Carmen. And we took the ferry over to Cozumel one day. We can't wait to go back to explore more what the area offers!

Smaller resort with an intimate feel. Pool was perfect for all ages! No hassling by peddlers at all. Food was quality and fresh! It was an easy walk into Playa for shopping, local fun and restaurants. Waiters and waitresses were very attentive! A big out out to our regular waitstaff-Julissa, Raul, Benita, Samara, Guillermo, Alejandro and Nue!!! Thanks for making it beautiful week!!!

Thank you for the fun activities and being welcomed like family ❤️ Beautiful water In the pool and the beach. Relaxing time. Beautiful views. Resort could use lots of upgrades/updates. Bed way too hard woke up with my hips hurting. Had to Resort to sleeping on the couch.

This the best resort for couples and older adults. The staff and food is the BEST. The location is quiet and only a 20 min walk to town and the mall. The room was simple but clean and the view specatular. Alejandra at the front desk is amazing, as well as her employees. The gentleman with glasses was always helpful. The restaurant staff was always great, especially Robigerto, Genaro and Raul. The Memory Makers, Azucena and Daniela, were friendly and helpful. The hobie ride was fun. The best - was the food-especially at dinner. Fresh fish and tasty octopus were my favorite. When I said I missed chocolate - the chef made me a special cholate bowl with chocolate dipped strawberries. The concierge was helpful and friendly also. Everyone helped me practice my Spanish and it was the BEST birthday vacation ever. EVen learned how to scuba dive. Only suggestion is do not use Extreme Adventures. Use Playa Del Carmen tours instead. They are closer with better service. Visit the camels and dolphins at the Maroma Resort on a tour and try discover scuba at Scuba Maroma (20 mins away by car).

We've stayed a Fishermen Beach Resort off and on for almost 20 years and always enjoy staying there. The people are friendly and accommodating.

We chose this resort because it was small... and it didn't disappoint! Service, Food and everything about this place was amazing. Absolutely loved it and will not only be back, but will recommend it to our friends too!!!

This was a great experience. The neighborhood where the resort is located is very cute and within walking (20 minutes) to 5th Avenue. The beach is great, the pools are nice, everyone has ocean view! Our room was spacious and comfortable. I would recommend the resort!

Wonderful location, with a friendly and attentive staff. Short walk into the tourist zone and ferries to Cozumel, yet far enough for it to be very quiet and peaceful.

The resort is an older resort and needs some updating for example in the pool area the Beach Couchons need to be replace they are a bit faded and old. The location is perfect if you enjoy walking to town its only 20 minutes to 5th avenue. They dont have elevators so just note that if you get the 3rd floor be prepared to do stairs, we didn't mind we enjoy stairs but for older folks
