I booked a standard king room. I was assigned to room 200 or 201 cant remember. Which was a dirty room in the end corner of the hall. Strong mildew smell. Immediately went to the front desk to ask to be moved to a different room. I was told there was no more rooms and they would send house keeping up to check out the smell. I went on ******* and the hotel site directly, low and behold a room was still available. Same exact room I originally booked. I inspected the room further. There was mold on the shower head. Stained sheets. Bug on the pillow. Counter tops did not look properly wiped. Floor was not mopped. Couch had little pieces of what looked like dirt on it. Went back down to the front desk and was told they have to reach out to their supervisor to switch me rooms. He told me I would not be charged for moving rooms. Well I certainly hope not considering the first room was atrocious due to no fault of my own. Man at the desk went to check out the new room before assigning it to me. I get to the new room 204, smells like housekeeping sprayed air freshner to mask the smell. Wasnt as bad as the first room though. The room was in much better condition than the first room but still not the best. Needless to say I ****** it up. There was no hot water when taking a shower. Walls were paper thin, I could hear the people in the room next to me snoring. Noisy at night due to area. (Not hotels fault) PROs Staff was friendly. View on rooftop beautiful, good location.
