Unfortunately there was no hot water available from wash hand basin within ensuite. Also the ensuite extract fan was not working, I was in room 5. Ken

Compact room but has everything you need for a short stay. There is communal kitchen facilities and the rear and coffee offerings were limited which is a shame as I need coffee to function 😂. Good quality towels and bedding. I thought initially the mattress looked and felt worn out but we had the best night's sleep. We were expecting it to be quite noisy however we didn't hear a peep until the noisy neighbours woke and banged their door around 7am.

Instructions for check in and out were very clear. Parking around 5 min walk away was also highlighted. The room was clean and perfectly adequate for a weekend stay. Wardrobe needs a bit of TLC to rehang doors and some more hooks for hanging towels and coats would be good. In the bathroom the shower has plenty of hot water but does not drain well so you end up ankle deep in water and there is a risk of slipping as you step out. Shared kitchen is equipped with everything you need and the complimentary tea, coffee, bread etc was welcome.

The room was lovely and cozy.the beds so comfy.location is excellent. Just could do with a few more items in kitchen and was sometimes difficult to get into kitchen to cook as was same group continually in there so everything was used but this did not impact our stay and we would totally be more than happy to stay again. Kitchen and communal areas were always cleaned in the mornings and breakfast supplied excellent.overall very good value.

Clear directions and check-in details. Property looks run down outside but is really nice inside. Self check-in with key box on door. Room was clean and spacious with ensuite. Beds were comfy too. Kitchen located just down the hall which provided tea, coffee, milk, butter, cereal and bread, plus facilities to cook if you wished to. Managed to get a free parking space outside the property overnight, then used car park just down the road which was £5 all day, and only a 15 minute walk to the University. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Great place to stay would of liked to know how to put heating on and tv wasn’t working but other then that was great loved the shower

I arrived around 8:30 at the property couldn't find it as looked so rough on the outside. On entering the lower stair well was poorly lit and coming down the staits the light didn't come on till you were almost at the bottom. The Stairwell & carpet were grubby looking, and generally smelt fousty. The room was lovely inside but again had that smell like it hadn't been used in a while. What bothered me the most was that the door had a pin code which I couldn't change and after being walked to my room the hosts (friend)stayed with me while I entered it. Being a professional lady, staying away on my own I felt a little scared to be honest - wouldn't do this again - hotel everytime!!!! Nowhere to eat close by only a KFC which closed early due to staffing issues, unless you wanted a kebab or pizza- I chose to starve as didn't feel safe
