"Good afternoon! I'm writing to explain what happened today. We booked two rooms and an apartment through the same company. An emergency operation was required for the person who rented the apartment. This person is the sister of someone staying in one of the rooms at this hostel (Boutique La Española in Rota) and the daughter of the guests in the other room. We sent reports documenting the situation, but they refused to issue a refund, keeping the full amount. I find it extremely unacceptable that they would consider the need for close relatives to have a vacation given the circumstances and refuse to take responsibility for something so urgent. I hope my comment will make others think twice before booking this place."

"Disappointing given the price and high ratings online. The apartment was only cleaned twice over our two week stay so no new towels, toilet roll or bin bags as you’ve to empty your own bins. When I asked for more bin bags at reception I was told they don’t have any and that I should go to ask a cleaner as they MIGHT have some. Problem with ants entering the apartment perhaps because the floors are not cleaned enough. Even when the apartment was cleaned, the hand soap was not refilled. Location is isolated being 4km walk to the centre of the town and the nearest cafe from the complex is 20 minutes walk. Nice pool with good amount of sun loungers"

"Наш второй проезд в Барселоне Коста-Баллена и это просто продолжает становиться лучше. Все сотрудники замечательны, все говорят с вами. Я особенно официанты Мануэль и Хосе Мигель были очень дружелюбны и болтливы. Отель находится в 10 минутах ходьбы до самого сказочного пляжа, который идет в милях! Залы большие и современные с очень удобными кроватями. Это было вкусное питание, всегда хороший отбор всего, высшее качество и хорошо представлены. Это был мой день рождения во время нашего пребывания и когда вернулась в мою комнату, Guest Experience Manager, Concha устроил пирог и бутылку воды. Очень хороший прикосновение. Без сомнения, мы вернемся снова ..."

"We stayed two nights, we made the reservation through Smartbox gift boxes. We had a baby and they didn't have any problems with us. The hostel has a very good location, in the low season there is plenty of parking nearby. It is very cozy, the room is very clean, the mattress is very comfortable. We had breakfast included and it is very delicious. The staff was very friendly, we loved it, we will definitely repeat as soon as we can return."

"Liked · NIce hotel in a quiet location on the edge of the town of Rota. Its a short drive into town or there is a bus every half an hour from just outside. The beach is a short 5 minute walk through a pine forest. We had a small apartment with living space, bedroom, terrace & a small kitchen. Everything was spotlessly clean but the kitchen is pretty basic, not really designed for full meal cooking, with only a microwave & 2 rings. The hotel has a American style Tex Mex restaurant which was not to our taste, they also serve breakfast which we didnt have. There are other restaurants within a short walk. Hotel is pet friendly with dog bed & water bowl provided. There is plenty of free street parking and the hotel also has secure gated parking area for €9 a night. Disliked · Checking in. Even though we were the only people checking in, it took half an hour of form filling by us & keyboard bashing by the male receptionist. I had paid in full through the *********** app but even so, the receptionist insisted on having my card number, expiry date & CVV number to "check with his records", something that I was entirely unhappy about."
