Hotel les Brises

Exactly as advertised. Friendly efficient staff, comfortable room, good breakfast, private parking and an amazing view. Altogether a very good experience. Sadly the weather was not on our side but it did not deter us from having the doors open in order to hear the waves crashing.

From the word go, the team at Hotel Les Brises could not have been more helpful and supportive. Our fifth floor room overlooking the sea was very comfortable and quite roomy and even in late October we were able to make use of the balcony to soak up some sun! The views were gorgeous and we passed some very pleasant time watching the yachts leaving the marina across the water, watching the tides and, from inside, the storm that hit whilst we there. The hotel was so tranquil, the only sound being the gentle and relaxing sound of the waves. Breakfast was very good with lovely pastries and bread plus a good selection of cheeses, meats etc. Also a good range of jams. There really was nothing to find fault with and our thanks go to everyone at the Hotel who did everything needed to make our stay so lovely.

Very nice place on great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is ok and bar service at terrace is nice and friendly. Plenty of parking. Seaside rooms have great view and are quite large - and pricy…rooms at the back are ok , smaller but newly decorated and well priced.

The terrace is a big plus for the hotel and the lovely view. I also liked the fact that it was out of town and encompassed a very pleasant walk through the tree-lined pathway. The breakfast and aperitifs were all very nice, but I must say, the staff were all brilliant. Really friendly, easygoing, helpful. I would easily recommend it and go again!

This hotel is wonderful! It touches the ocean! We picked the King Premium room with balcony. The view is stunning and you feel like you’re sitting in the water. The balcony is the perfect size with provided bistro table and two chairs. We loved lying in bed with the drapes open and looking at the water. Truly magical. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable. The bedding is very nice. The shower pressure was awesome. It even has a rain shower overhead if you like that feature. The warm towels were a nice touch. The breakfast was excellent and included hard boiled eggs (or you could poach your own), sliced meats and cheese, fresh fruits, cereals, croissants and over 7 different jams and honey. They also had two coffee machines and hot water for tea. The fresh Orange juice is also very good. The receptionist speaks perfect English. She is very friendly and helpful. She gave us the excellent suggestion of taking a walk along the water, on the promenade, to the beach and port. It was a wonderful walk along the ocean. It took roughly 20 minutes to reach the small rocky beach. The next time we are in town, we will for sure stay in this beautiful hotel.

We liked the secure parking, the friendly welcome given to us in english, the excellent buffet breakfast and the close proximity to all of the tourist attractions.

Amazing staff and always helpful. Well situated. Very welcoming. Highly recommend the hotel.

This is a nice enough hotel but please be aware of their cancellation policy of a strict three full days notice which was not brought to our attention when we booked. We have stayed at this hotel previously and were due to return on our journey back to the UK. Very sadly, owing to family illness, we had to cut our holiday short and return home asap. We informed the hotel immediately and gave them over two days’ notice. Long enough you would have thought for a popular hotel to find alternative bookings. Instead, without any discussion (or even any sympathy for our plight) they immediately withdrew nearly £600 from our debit card. I have phoned dozens of times to see if we can reach some sort of agreement but they don’t return my calls and strangely the Manager is never in when I call. Surprise surprise. I don’t like leaving negative reviews but after several months of trying to resolve, I have decided I need to make other guests aware.

This hotel is termed "tourist" which is accurate. Ideal for a stop-over when travelling from one place to another. The position is not ideal as it is somewhat on the outskirts of town with the main restaurant area at least 30-45 minutes walk.
