Comfort Inn Near Seaworld - Lackland AFB

This is worst hotel we stayed at in San Antonion so far. We only stayed for one night and experienced the following: - Light fixture hanging from ceiling, indicating very poor maintenance - Stains on the curtains, which looked like bloodstains to us but I could not be sure - A dirty sock left in the bathroom from the previous owner, indicating poor cleanliness - No hot water for the shower. When we reported this the hotel told us that we had to run the water for 5-10minutes to get the hot water, which seems crazy - Terrble breakfast with very limited options. I have never seen such a sorry set of food items presented. For example, a total of 5 yoghurts and no cream cheese for the bagels. When we reported the first 4 issues to the member of staff at reception she did not note down any of the issues and did not take any ownership of the problems we reported. Overall a very poor stay and you should avoid this hotel if you can. There are much better options at this price point.

Awful! Expect motel standards at hotel pricing. The area is not safe, a lot of homeless activity going on around it. If you search google reviews you will find that they have frequest break ins both in and out of the hotel. This was not the case for us, but I must warn you that the only good you will get for your price is a very basic continental breakfast (think a orange and waffle) paired with some watered down coffee or watered down orange juice. Now for the disappointing part, you price will include stained bedsheets and matresses. Mice droppings and roaches! All visibly seen by me in our room! I could not get out of there fast enough and will make it a point to never return.

My advice is do not stay at The Comfort Inn Lackland near Sea World. We were in town for an Air Force Basic Training graduation. Haf 3 rooms with multiple unacceptable issues. Additionally, Kiran, the GM would not come to the phone or respond to emails. The issues were as follows (in no specific order). 1. Shower temp - no hot water and it was barely warm. 2. There were Constant key issues and having to get reprogrammed became an annoying inconvenience. 3. The Floor, around the fridge and under bed / bed frame etc were extremely dirty and disgusting to the point that I could write words in this dirt. Very unsanitary. 4. There was no extra tp / tissue in the rooms. When I went to the front desk, I got major attitude from employees when I asked for more since i put do not disturb sign up as I don't want people in my room when I'm not there. 5. The "waffle girl" yelled at 1 of our guest over using wrong cup for batter. Additionally, some of the food was used the next day instead of fresh food being prepared. 6. The building had multiple signs all over about park at your own risk and not responsible for things in your vehicle. You couldn't see the signs unless it was daylight and you were looking for them and with no similar warning on the website or when checking in (but these signs show they know that they have a major issue). The parking lot had many people randomly roaming the lot. Our rental vehicle had things that were in there from the car owner, such as a dashcam, lockbox and other items, stolen from it which I had to pay for. The employees told us no cameras were working there and refused to help us. Additionally, the cameras in hall and smoke detectors in room were hanging off / installed poorly (can give pics) which showed total disregard for true guest safety. For these reasons, the total lack of care and accountability on behalf of management and more, I would highly suggest finding a different hotel to stay at.

We stay at Choice Hotels frequently for work and unfortunately the Comfort Inn Seaworld-Lackland does not meet expectations. It is apparent the hotel does not have enough cleaning staff. These ladies are obviously working very hard but just cannot keep up the demands of this size of a hotel. The bedspread had hair all over it and what appeared to be either chocolate or blood on it when we checked in. On Friday night the front desk staff put us on the cleaning schedule for a full clean/linen change for Saturday morning (day 6 of our stay) and on Saturday the front desk said we were not on the schedule and they were too busy so it would have to wait another day. If an operational fitness center is one of the things you use to choose a hotel do not choose this hotel. The treadmill is broken and it is not easy to use the recumbent bike without hitting your knees on the metal box the hotel installed around the console. The TV entertainment system in the room is also subpar. Out of the 4 or 5 different front desk staff/managers we saw during our 9 day stay only 2 were actually helpful.
