The Jay, Autograph Collection

This is one of my favorite hotels in SF. Awesome Gym, super new tech, the tvs have streaming service, and the views are better than you’d expect. The one thing I hate is that the floorboards on the beds light up when they sense motion. So if your comforter swings down, you’re going to have a lot of light in your face. But I’m torn because it also helps if you have to get up and go to the bathroom. So all in all, I’d still give them five stars. But only because I think there’s a way to turn off the floorboards that I never figured out… so maybe that’s on me.

Excellent and the best hotel in the city of San Francisco My booking reservation date got mixed up, but the check in staff was so helpful and quickly gave me phone number to call since we used Marriot Bonvoy. Everything was resolved under 20 mins. The bartender at the bar lounge on 3rd floor, I forgot her name, she suggested and made very good drinks for my husband and I. She was funny and sweet. We absolutely loved staying at The Jay Autograph Collection. It was very nice and clean hotel, super modern, staff was so nice, the location was perfect for our trip. We definitely will come back. Excellent hotel with beautiful renovations. I’m actually going to copy the walk in shower design they used. We only had breakfast and it was excellent. Asked for a recommendation for a restaurant for dinner and valet was spot on. I would imagine their food would have been good as well given the cleanliness and excellent staff. We were there to go on an Alaskan cruise and to our surprise were able to see our ship at port when we woke up.

Absolutely Beautiful transformation of what used to be a bland and dreary business hotel. Stunning decor. Top notch fitness center. Courtesy and professionalism abound. l will certainly return. If you are on the fence about where to stay in San Francisco, look no further. I booked the hotel on a laugh because my husband's name is Jay. I was highly impressed with my choice. I almost forgot about the sustainable bamboo feel of the key cards. Nice touch.

Beautiful Luxury Hotel in a great location. It's walking distance to The Ferry Building and tons of other attractions. The staff was very helpful. The decor is beautiful and cozy at the same time. I loved the comfy couch in the room and in room coffee/tea service. The beds were comfortable and it was very quiet for a SF hotel. My only minor complaints were a few stains on the carpet and I do not like Coffee Mate for my coffee. I would stay here again.

This hotel was such an oasis during a busy work trip. The room was great (super comfy bed and awesome view of the bay and Coit tower), restaurant and coffee bar very thoughtfully done. Lovely outdoor space with fire pits and comfy seating. Food was great (kudos to the chef). what really set it apart was the incredible staff. So helpful, responsive and engaged. From the wait staff to concierge to valet and room service. Everyone was wonderful. I needed help with a last minute meeting and they were flexible and helped me locate a quiet spot. I stayed 4 nights and highly recommend this lovely hotel. Will definitely stay again.

What keep me coming back to The Jay, fka Le Meridien, are the location, room, amenities, and most of all the friendly and hospitable staff from doormen, front desk to house keeping. Their enthusiasm, professionalism and attentiveness have always made my stays truly enjoyable. The Jay is my home away from home when I'm traveling in San Francisco...

Spacious and luxurious room that comes with wonderful bedding and toilet. My three-night stay was made especially pleasant due to its warm and welcoming staff, especially Kat. The hotel is conveniently located 5 to 7 minutes' walk away from Walgreens and Safeway for any groceris and toiletries you might need.

As an architect, I value good design. This was GREAT design. The lighting, fabrics, even the carpet was chosen with care and consideration. It was also quiet, which not all hotels downtown can say. I’ll definitely choose the jay for my next SF trip!
