As an American traveler, I must say my stay at Casa Hoyos was exceptional. From the moment I stepped in, I felt a sense of welcoming and warmth that truly made my trip memorable. The staff here is nothing short of amazing; their hospitality and attention to detail are unparalleled. The rooms are spacious, super cute, and impeccably clean. Water pressure wasn’t great unfortunately, but to be expected in historic Mexico. The rooftop bar was very convenient, and the bar staff was fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Miguel. Thank you to the incredible staff for making my stay truly unforgettable. I look forward to returning!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cafe Hoyos. The hotel is centrally located, beautifully designed, and we have nothing but GREAT things to say about the hotel staff. Christopher provided restaurant recommendations along with activities that we would not have normally come across. He also took time out to provide context and history about the city and the interesting past of the hotel building. In addition, Sophia and Juan ensured any requests were promptly addressed. I would definitely highly recommend booking your stay in San Miguel de Allende at Casa Hoyos.

Casa Hoyos was a great choice for us! We were two couples, both visiting San Miguel for the first time. We loved being so close to the beautiful Parroquia church and busy central square in front of it, as well as all the shops and restaurants in the Centro district. The rooms were really nice — spacious, well-appointed, and well-stocked with all the essentials. The rooftop bar was lovely, and the breakfast was great too! We were very grateful for the great advice and assistance we received from Christopher and his staff on sights, restaurants, and transport — all of which made our visit that beautiful city so much fun!

We had a great stay at Casa Hoyos. The hotel is beautiful and clean. It has a rooftop bar and pool area with a fantastic view of San Miguel. The location is perfect for visiting many sites. And the staff is very friendly and helpful. A wonderful hotel!

The service provided by staff was stellar. From booking help, to the private shuttle, to the accommodating check-in time when we arrived from our red eye, to our check out time late afternoon, everything was top notch. We loved the design and style of the hotel and decor. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were perfectly fluffy. Cleaning staff was wonderful and brought fresh soft towels daily. The shower/tub combo was a nice touch and we even had a full length mirror in the bathroom. A safe with easy to set combo was provided and an efficient wall a/c unit kept us comfortable. The rooftop bar was quaint with attractive seating options and a great view of the city. We enjoyed the lounge during our down time and appreciate the glass ceiling allowing natural light in. The hotel is located in an area that allowed for restful nights, and overall a relaxing tranquil experience. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

First time trip to San Miguel de Allende, decided to stay here as it's in a very central location. Overall it was a great place to stay, the room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We went up to the roof one evening, the hours posted don't seem to be quite right as the bar wasn't open at 2, came back around 4 and had some great drinks. Particularly enjoyed the Aguamiel. View from the roof is great. Had breakfast at Ghar which was included with our stay, the food and coffee were both delicious, their courtyard is very relaxed and inviting. Other things you may want to consider for your stay. Sound does seem to travel, we could hear the music in the lobby fairly clearly in our room, this was fine as it’s relatively quiet but if you sleep particularly lightly and late you may notice the sound. Our shower took quite a while to warm up, this was fine after we’d been walking around in the heat but if you want a very warm shower you’d need to leave it running a while.

Beautifully designed hotel in the center of San Miguel. Easily walkable to the main sites. Service was super helpful and friendly, from reception and the cleaning crew. The rooftop bar has great views of the city and was our home base each night before dinner. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

Beautiful modern design touches in every detail, and the entire staff was so friendly. Perfect location in Centro to explore SMA. Rooftop is amazing - with cocktails! Our room had only an interior window, which kept it dark for good sleep. We also had an exceptional dinner in the restaurant.

Amazing hotel and wonderful people : Cristofer, Sofia, Juan, Gustavo and Lupita. Great location within walking distance to most shops and restaurants.
