Overall, my experience at the hotel was mixed. The property itself was nice and clean, and the check-in process was smooth and pleasant. However, I encountered significant issues with the parking situation that soured my stay.
Upon returning to the hotel at 2:20 AM, I was dismayed to find no available parking. Cars were haphazardly parked in the red zone, posing a safety hazard and preventing safe exit from the property. Despite addressing the matter with the manager, Mr. Lundy, his response was dismissive and condescending. He indicated that the hotel policy allows a 24-hour grace period before addressing parking issues, leaving me frustrated and stranded.
Seeking a solution, I contacted a nearby hotel for parking assistance. The process of driving there, obtaining a parking permit, and returning to the hotel in the cold, rainy early morning hours was inconvenient and disheartening. Upon my return, Mr. Lundy's disrespectful demeanor compounded the situation. His dismissive attitude towards safety concerns, coupled with security guards following us under false pretenses, created an unwelcome and uncomfortable environment.
The lack of compassion and professionalism from the management, as well as the sense of threat and insecurity due to the parking and security issues, left a sour taste in my mouth. The response regarding the "24-hour notice" policy suggests an ongoing problem with parking management and raises concerns about the hotel's commitment to guest safety.
