Comfort Inn & Suites Tobago

We had organised a free pick up service from the airport that was offered by the hotel. The driver arrived half an hour late at the airport. When we complained to the receptionist (Alicia) she had a very bad attitude towards us (for whatever reason), claiming that the pick up wasn't correct anyways. This is unacceptable and very poor customer service.

The staff on site is bar none the best - when it comes to friendliness and service on par with their us franchise counterparts!

Poor customer service when chevking in. No smile, no info regarding anything like wifi or breakfast. 3 different types of hair in the room. In the shower, on the bathroom floor and in the room. Asked the front desk agent to send housekeeping. Housekeeping only cleaned the shower, the other pieces of hair remained there same way. And please no bending to pick up anything from the bathroom floor. The space under the cabinet has probably not been cleaned since this hotel opened. Check out agent could not provide invoice (up to now ), no hard copy and not by email. Something with the "system". My name was not on the breakfast list. A faulty milk jar spilled milk each time when used. Was not replaced. Supervisor and chef spilled milk with it as well after i asked them to show me how to do it. And i am sure even now the spilling still is ongoing. Not good for business attire.

I did not like when i was practically embarrassed in the dinning room (breakfast service), on my last day of four nights. I usually have something sweet after my breakfast consumption, however i had an early flight to catch so i thought i could have taken a slice of one of the sweet items served on that morning. As i was about to ask for a napkin to do so, i was not even given the opportunity to complete my question. I was abruptly cut off with the response; and i quote" you can't take away anything everything must be consumed in the dinning area(really). I am from the hospitality industry for over thirty years. I have traveled all over the world dinned in some of the finest restaurants. I have also been to other hotels in Tobago, where their service was top notch and was never embarrassed like that. Ambiance, cleanliness, a level of safety. I will give a thumbs up. I would like to suggest that the management at this establishment revisit their policy statements and also retraining of it's dinning room staff.

The hotel rooftop has a pool and cabanas with amazing views. Staff were all welcoming and went above and beyond. Lunch and dinner at hotel restaurant were delicious and freshly made. The only downside of the stay was the odor from carpet on the 2nd floor, can't pinpoint if it didnt dry properly or mold. The property was in good condition despite the scent.

It is a beautiful place to stay with lovely artwork. The room is modern and comfortable. A wheelchair was provided for my guest who had surgery, although no one offer to push him to his room. There was inadequate number of smiles to greet you. A young Ms. Asha (I think) in the restaurant was exceptional. She had a warm smile, was kind and helpful. Please provide a kettle for people who would like to boil hot water for tea, tea cup which are microwaveable instead of the paper cups and better tasting tea in the rooms and restaurant would be appreciated.

The location was really nice, yet quiet. I will be returning on my next visit.

The propert is clean. My room even has a microwave. For breakfast you have an option of continental breakfast and local food. The staff are warm and friendly.

Partially new, opened about a year now. In the heart of town, mins from food, shopping, ferry to Trinidad and lots more. Taxis are always available, but most importantly the location is centrally located to a lot of active areas.
