"The staff service was unprofessional, there was no concierge, we had to carry our own luggage, the room facilities were basic, there were no bathrobes, slippers, or electric kettle, and you had to use a coffee machine to boil water bit by bit. It was far below the brand standard. The same brand in Southeast Asia is 4 stars or above, but this Scranton is only 2 stars."

"We stayed here Saturday august 24th and the conditions were appalling. Not only is there mold on the roof, but the roof is also deteriorating with water damage. The building itself was stained with the residue of smoke dripping down the walls. Even in our non-smoking room there was evidence of smoking, again residue on the walls and bedding/pillows absorbed with the smell of smoke. The worst possible thing was that the door opening to our room had large gaps at the bottom and side of the door which we had to cover for privacy/safety concerns. The bathroom door looked like someone had kicked it in, and the bathroom towels were still damp (but refolded) presumably from the previous guests, which shows that the room was not properly cleaned. The floors were completely sticky to the point out shoes were sticking, and you could even see footprints from previous guests. The only surprising thing was that there were no bed bugs. I would not recommend this to anyone who values comfort, cleanliness or safety."
