Sorrento Pool&Suites

The staff is amazing, and the people in the property are really nice and very helpful. The contact person of the property Giuseppe, is a wonderful human being, punctual and very professional. I stayed at this place due to my participation at a conference, and the first day suffered from immense jet lag, which caused me to create unnecessary problems for myself. Despite this, Giuseppe was patient, understanding, and extremely helpful. He even came in the rain just to help me resolve particular problems, which were a result of my jet lag and not the property. Toni was also very helpful, and prompt. The staff overall was amazing, and the services were of the same quality. The people living at this property are also quite nice, and always try to help you. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

Our stay was really good. Excellent location for exploring Sorrento, very clean and lovely staff. The building was authentic and had a lot of character. Security was good. The pool wasn’t open and looked like it hasn’t been for a while. I think you should change the image on the site and advertise guests.

The room looked cute when we were shown it by Tony but as we looked closer it was obvious the bathroom was not clean. The shower floor was stained and had a rusty stool inside. The grout through the the bathroom was stained and caulking discolored. We didn’t feel comfortable using the shower at all in its condition. The bathroom had double sinks which was very nice but they splashed water everywhere no matter how we adjusted them! The complimentary breakfast was not good. We did appreciate the two balcony’s, the AC worked well and the location was great, five minutes slightly downhill walk to the main part of sorrento. Just as a whole unfortunately it was quite the letdown.

Rooms and bathroom are nice for a small bedroom setting. Clean rooms and bed is nice. Pool service is shared with the apar**ent complex (this hotel or whatever is actually just a section of owned apar**ents), and the pool is annoyingly restrictive. Set hours which are not available in the afternoon, ends early, some dude guarding it demanding swimcaps be worn when I see tons of people swimming right now without them. Makes for a lame experience.

Brought to court and won. Worst experience of my life. False advertisement and unsanitary conditions. Ants all over room: bed, walls, desk, skirting boards, window, and windowsill. Doesn't have the facilities it advertises, no bar, no coffee house, shared pool as part of a condominium, not a hotel it’s a section of a floor in a condominium, no concierge service, hair in hairdryer, hairdryer went on fire when used, sporadically hot and cold water in shower, not sound proof, no balcony. He blamed us on ants, which it was not our fault. Asked for a different room which the owner didn’t provide. Ended up leaving property early and becoming homeless in a foreign country where we didn’t speak the language as the owner provided no appropriate response to the ant infestation. Expected us to sleep in a room which was just going to be fumigated with ant spray (including the bed where we were expected to sleep). Took to small claims court and won our case, however Giuseppe (owner) refused to acknowledge any receipt of court documents and is operating under illegal pretence with false advertisement and unsanitary conditions. Refuses to respond to any correspondence from me the client or the court system. Blatant disrespect and disregard from Sorrento Pool and Suites for consumer rights.

If there was an option to give the hotel zero stars that’s what I would have done. In my opinion this is the worst hotel I have stayed in in my whole life and a huge disappoin**ent in every area. There was ants in this hotel as many reviews on various sites have noted, the facilities advertised actually didn’t exist. No curtains on the window, thin walls, broken appliances, and it isn’t even actually a hotel, It’s Like an apar**ent block from the 70s or something. The hotel was so bad I actually had to leave sorrento and go back to Rome 4 days into a 7 day stay after I found ants crawling all over the room. When we brought it to the manager’s attention he offered us bug spray and new sheets but refused to offer an alternative room basically suggesting we clean our own room and sleep in it after spraying it for insects. Overall a huge disappoin**ent in what I would consider a poor 2 star hotel. Avoid!!!!!

So disappointed with this stay £330 for a 2 night stay So misleading from the photos and information No bar No pool until June apparently No glasses In room in fact nothing in room apart from the obvious a bed and shower A balcony which is shared with the next apar**ent no privacy what so ever especially when they come looking though the balcony door for a cork screw while I just got out the shower No bachelor/ette parties !! 3 girls In next apar**ent playing loud music etc They too we’re disappointed and felt they paid too much Key for electric you have to take out as it’s the door key too so can’t charger anything whilst out and keep things fresh in the fridge When we did get glasses the maid took them the next day WHY!!!! Had to wait again for someone to come back as no reception Breakfast is a leak warm toastie , plain yogurt and a croissant Half a paper cup of coffee and orange juice

Friendly and easy check in process, daily expert cleaning, delicious breakfast delivered to the room to enjoy every morning. Also great location walking distance to the beach, town centre and train station. Price is also very good value.
