I liked the location of the property. It was easy to walk to many places. I liked that the hotel has a gym, but the gym is lacking in suitable free weights.Get some iron dumbbells in there and a good bar for presses. A foam roller would be a great addition as well. Many hotels around the world have those items, especially 5-star hotels.
I did not care for the cleanliness of the room. There were smudges from other people’s stay. The tile in the shower is completely destroyed by the hard water and needs replacing! It’s not appropriate for the amount of money we paid. It was nice to have turndown service nightly. It was also nice to receive the wine, Shabbat treats, and fruits. The balcony was nice overlooking the water, but the construction sounds were horrible. We felt the breakfast assor**ent was nice, BUT the staff was not trained well, nor was there any sort of method to the service. One person checked us in, one person showed us to the table. Then it took a while every morning to just get simple coffee. They’d either bring the coffee and forget the other coffee or forget the milk while the coffee completely cooled off.Seemed like a lot of people walking around and not actually providing effective service! The room was sufficiently comfortable but for $600-plus per night was just not at the level. My son received a corner room that appeared to have a balcony in the pictures, but we were informed at check-in by a rude young lady that he would not have a balcony. No room to write
