Hotel Scardus

We went for a weekend corporate training event and were based in the hotel the whole weekend, and didn't venture far outside. It could have felt a little claustrophobic, but the hotel was warm and welcoming, and has a variety of spaces for working and relaxing. We used a downstairs conference room which is large, bright and well equipped. We ate three meals a day in the restaurant. Both the set menus and the breakfast buffet were excellent, with a wide choice for all palates. They catered for vegetarians in our party well. The staff were friendly and attentive. There is a large indoor pool and spa which was welcome leisure activity in the period between the summer hiking and biking season and the wintersports season - both of which the hotel is clearly well equipped to cater for, with bikes and skis and so on available to rent. Many day trippers in cars and on motorbikes made the trip up the mountain for Sunday lunch. The rooms are basic but have all you need and the views of the surrounding mountain tops are excellent and ever-changing: in 36 hours we had 22 degree warmth, a snow and sleet shower, and a huge double rainbow. I warmly recommend this hotel for work or leisure.

We had a great time staying at Hotel Scardus. The staff is very helpful and super friendly and really want to make you feel at home. Breakfast and dinner was really good. The sauna and spa area is relaxing after a day on the mountain. Good collaboration between the Hotel management and the guides from Shar Outdoors. We will definitely come back!

Perfect location, clean rooms and very helpful staff. They made their best to accommodate us even thought we arrived last minute on weekend. I totally recommend for their good job. The ski place is near and spectacular view in the mountains

All the best in 2022 to the owner Hašim and to the staff, especially to Bled and Niki... There were few things to improve but at the and I would recommend this hotel to everyone... We were enjoying in their spa, pool and gthey even provided drive with ratrack to to top of the mountain. Owner Hašim is really good guy and my family felt like at home in Croatia. Hotel is just few minutes from the ski resort where we had wonderful time. Hotel organized all the equipment for my kids and me and best trainer named Elvir... Prices are reasonable and for people from Croatia would be best to try this place like us... Once again all the best in the future and see you next year or maybe in spring when it's time for hiking or enjoying in nature of Šarplanina Kodra... Boris with his family, Dubrovnik Top Tours
