Название отзыва говорит само за себя. Есть сауна, открытый и закрытый бассейн, спортивный зал, массаж, близость к центру, в шаговом доступе, все это замечательно. Но! Номера ужасные, все старое, прокуренные комнаты, очень шумно, все как было лет 50 назад, так и осталось. Кровати очень неудобные. Мне пришлось стелить несколько пледов, чтоб эти металлические прутья не так врезались в спину. Завтрак до 10. Если завтрак до 10, это значит, что когда приходишь в 9:40 всего должно быть еще полно, а на валяться на столах пару жалких огурцов да и таких на вид, что и брать не хочется. Еда выглядит очень несвежей, пробовать и не хочется, да и нечего. С персонала на завтраках толка никакого, честное слово, стоят три курицы и все три в телефонах. Не знаю, что они там делают. Словом, не рекомендую.

Not a guest, but a user of the Tesla superchargers located in the hotel's perimeter. Access to the superchargers must be available 7/24, but the suboptimal management of the hotel makes it sometimes impossible. If the hotel's parking is full, cars can't access the superchargers, even if all 6 of them are available, because the automatic gate is commanded by the availability of the hotel's parking places, disregarding the available chargers. The employee from the reception shows zero intention to be helpful.

This hotel is perfectly located in Timisoara, less than 5 minutes walk from all the main pedestrian areas of the city. Rooms are a bit dated but, still, they are ok. Cleaning in the bathroom was not the best unfortunately and we lacked the soap. The personnel was very nice and welcoming while the breakfast was fair. All in all, a good option for Timisoara.

Great location, walking distances for most of Timisoara city centre attractions and restaurants. Decent size room, very clean, minibar with reasonable cost, flat TV (small size), medium size bed, bathroom with bathtub, towels changed daily. Very good breakfast. Not so good: bed not very comfortable, windows not offering good sound insulation. Could not make parking reservation, even having room booked and paid for 3 days. Pricing decent for offering.

Let's say the resort still harks back to a time decades ago. On check-in, the young staff members are rather unfriendly and their hearts are just not in it. They ask if you are sure that you really want a "matrimonial" room (I know a little Romanian and understand that this is the correct term). They then run through their spiel through the hotel policies and facilities in 10 seconds as fast as possible. Customer service is non-existent. If you are a girl, you may get good service. The room itself is very dated. Air conditioning was functional but not able to bring the temperature of the room down. Wifi was very weak and slow. Two out three jacuzzis/spas were broken. It is obvious no money is being spent on this hotel as I can see in reviews one year ago that they were broken then too and they will probably be broken indefinitely. Towels are not provided for the swimming pool. You are meant to either ask for them at the front desk (where they are incredulous that you would ask for towels) or just take your bath towels. The towels are a limited commodity as we took some towels down and some guy stole our towel and started using it as he didn't have one - proving why the hotel should provide free pool towels for guests. The hotel seems to stuck in the 90s or even earlier, relying on its former glories. It desperately needs renovation and staff training. Oh, and there is a nightclub downstairs.

Pro - Location is perfect (center of Timisoara) - Staff very helpful - Close parking - Tea/coffee/bathroom samples are given in quantities and good quality Con : - Swimming pool is not as good as it appears on the photos. Still pleasant but it's part of the gym subscription and it can be quite busy with people from the hotel and the one from the gym - 2 Jacuzzy was out of order (it's temporary)

First of all not to be confused this hotel is called Hotel Continental. I must agree with many travelers saying it is dated, but it was OK for us for a one night stay. Hotel location is excellent being in the very center with all attractions in a 10 min walking distance. In front is a big parking lot - payable on weekdays, free on weekends. Probably the ugliest thing is the exterior - a classic communist era concrete block edifice. Lobby is big, check in was fast with kind staff explaining all amenities. Room was OK, dated again - specially the bathroom. Satellite TV and small mini bar, average beds, AC set to max - couldn't turn it down, so it was hot like in sauna. Breakfast was good. Pool is fair in size, heated, but very overcrowded - seems that also non-guests can use it. Hot tubs looked dirty with stain water and jets didn't work so did not use it. Overall, considering the price, location and amenities it was good for a night stay.

Located close to the city the hotel has quite an 80s flavour. It is clean and the staff is good. Still some invest in the rooms and looks of the place is needed. Not sure what the "night club" in the basement is about but it gibes the place a non professional touch. There are meanwhile new / renovated hotels in Timi that I prefer.

Wow! Service has truly declined at this property from front desk to bar service. Breakfast: awful.

An old hotel building from the 1979s modernised to reach 4*. Not bad. But the room sizes cannot be changed... in some other countries comparable hotels are demolished and rebuilt on modern standards. Our room at 13th floor has a terrace of less that 1 m width but still provided with some chairs where is hard to use them. Put there probable for audit purposes. Currently, renovating construction is going on and separation from habitable part is done with unprofessional dark grey cheap plastic (as for garbage sacs) curtains! The management should press more on the builders... Our room was all right with all amenities needed. Breakfast with a lot of courses... The croissants were at 5* level!

This is a place where the words "hospitality" and "friendliness" are unknown for the personnel. When expressing the fact that there is no hot water in the shower, the reply from the staff was "I know! What could I do?". Although our visit was a Business stay, so our breakfast must have been reserved by our client (and it was! - as seen in the exchange of emails with this hotel!), the staff announced us with the same impertinent tone that there is nothing to be done, we can not take the breakfast because the personnel has registered us in the system without breakfast. No interest in the client's needs, lack of kindness when it comes to any problems occured during our stay! And it also seems an overpriced place to stay!
