Etoile des Gorges

What amazing space created Ahmed and his Team! Beautifull, comfortable, clean, best views rooms! And so friendly family a**osphere. The best location at the spectacular entrance to Todra Gorge. Its climbers dream to sleep in such a place build among the rocks. Wow.... and the stars at night... ! And Ahmed the owner is so lovely person. And his tajine is soo tasty!! I will always stay in this place each time I pass Todra route for sure. Thank you so much Ahmed! See you soon. Marta

The perfect place for a climbing trip to Todra gorges. Optimal situation, next to most of climbing zones. Great service from Ahmed and his team. Very good food and correct rooms. It's our second stage in this hotel and we'll repeat next time; sure.

The owner told us to go on the terrace because of the view and telling us that we would be at the sun. Instead the table was in the shadow. Before sitting we asked him how long we would have waited because we were in a hurry and he told us 10 minutes. We went up on the terrace and we saw 2 big groups of tourists arrriving after us. They were served while we were still waiting for our 2 meals (2 simple tajine). We had to go downstairs twice and ask them for our meals . They were so bad. Never experienced tajine so bad in the whole Morocco. When we asked for the bill, the guy tried to scam us 10 dirham. This was our experience at this restaurant.

This is a very nice place to stay if you're visiting Todra Gorges, for example going rock climbing as we did. We stayed here for 3 days. Had a great experience. Room was spacious, with our personal bathroom. There are some things to improve in the interior, but it is nothing major. Hot water, comfortable beds etc. Staff is very kind, welcoming and helpful. Definitely recommend staying at this place or at least eating at the restaurant. Food is amazing here!!! Hope to return here. :)

The location at the entrance of the gorge is ideal. We were greeted warmly each time we entered the building, and the beds were firm and comfortable. HOWEVER, the lack of cleanliness of this guesthouse left us disappointed. The soap dish and toothbrush holder had not been cleaned. The bath mat was soaked from the last guests, and tables in the dining room all had crumbs and food on them. (We had to wipe them ourselves each time we sat down.) We chose this guesthouse because the average ratings were high, and maybe it’s better than some places in town, but in comparison to all the other places we have stayed in Morocco (and we’ve been here over 2 weeks), this was not up to the standards we have come to expect from Moroccan guesthouses. They first put us in the wrong room (we were 2 and they put us in a room for 4. I even asked if he was sure this was our room. This caused a delay to the family waiting for us to move.) Even in the first room I noticed the soap dish was dirty. Thread bare is acceptable, dirty is not. Tolerable for one night.

We stayed here for two nights and if time would have allowed, we would have stayed longer!! The hotel is well kept, extremely clean and very safe. There is a restaurant on the premises and we had several meals there. We tried the chicken with lemon and olives, Moroccan salad and soup for dinner as well as their homemade spaghetti. The food was made per order - fresh and delicious!! The staff was very accommodating and welcomed us with open arms. We will definitely return on our next visit!!!

We arrived without a reservation, offered us a great deal (very cheap), including breakfast (which is generous, tasty and Bereber made by Repja) and made us feel very comfortable. Ahmed is a really natural and funny guy and the place is impossible to beat if you're a climber: it's just in front of the Mansour crag. The room was honest for the price, clean and comfortable. Traditional food, specially couscous and a Bereber crêpe they make, is fantastic and we ended up having dinner at the place every night. Spent 5 nights and I was, personally, sad to leave. Also a good a**osphere among residents, by the way

The staff at Etoiles Des Gorges were so kind and accommodated all of our wishes. They cooked for us late at night when everywhere looked closed. Location couldn’t be better on the entrance to the gorge. Thanks again for taking care of us on our stay

Everything super nice! People were very kind and friendly, always trying to help. We were there for five days and ate different dishes, all of them awesome. Breakfasts were excellent as well. Rooms have all you need and were confortable, fresh and with nice views. I would repeat 100%!!!
