Castro Deluxe

We just came back from vacation, the room where we stayed has a balcony and a sea view, a comfortable bed and an old sofa with a topper, the cleaning was done daily, we had no problems with wifi, the beach was clean and very close to the accommodation , the sea was wonderful, clean and clear, on the ground floor there is a bakery where fresh products were prepared every half-day, and Mrs. Dimitra, the owner, is a very nice and welcoming host!

We have just returned from this accommodation in Greece. Apart from the view and the location, the accommodation has nothing to justify the price and the name Deluxe. First of all, the mattress on the extra bed is not "orthopedic" but an ordinary sponge that heats you up so much that you can't sleep on it, and it's also uncomfortable. The hygiene in the rooms is very low. When entering the apar**ent, there was sand and dust on the floor, hair in the shower cabin, as well as in every drawer I opened. There are pasted killed mosquitoes on the wall. And this is not all, the owner of the apar**ent drains the sewage in the middle of the night, so the smell of something, which is unbearable, wakes you up, so sleeping under the air conditioner is mandatory, without opening the balcony door. Otherwise, the owner herself is very strange, she tries in every way to take your money, which wouldn't be a problem if she wasn't rude in those attempts. For example, on the deckchairs in front of the accommodation, which are free with the consumption of at least 2 drinks, you haven't even spread the towels and she is already there with the question of what you will drink. 2 consumptions during the day (2x2) are mandatory, and if you leave your towels and go to lunch and do not return until 2:30 p.m., when the second consumption billing shift begins, she comes to pick up the towels and throw them on the sand to free up the sunbeds. She did that to her guests from Bulgaria who were in the apar**ent below us. Although there is no crowd on the sunbeds and there is enough space because no one comes from outside except for the guests of the accommodation. The apar**ents are not cleaned in the agreed order, every time I had to ask for the apar**ent to be cleaned. The kitchen is small and there are not enough dishes. Wifi is terribly slow. All in all, the worst accommodation we had in Greece, where we have been vacationing for years.

Very clean and confortable room with a beautiful sea view. Garden is 👌. Greate place for kids. Part of the beach in front of Castro Deluxe is the best in Toroni. 🥰 We will come back again for sure. ⬆️

The most wonderful place (Toroni) love the hotel (apar**ent) the beautiful sea, food and the morning confectionery from Dimitra coffee shop even the Grees people are wonderful. We have been in love with Toroni part and Castro deluxe hotel(apar**ent) beautiful lovely place, clean, good service friendly and just few meters over the sea . 100% it’s a place which I recommend for other people specially for families ❤️

Very good location. Very kind owner. There is a parking space in the yard for a fee. Cleaning and change of bedding and towels every 2 days. I had no problems with the wifi connection, it worked well. The beach is clean and with free sunbeds for those staying at Mrs. Dimitra's. The rooms are generally small, but for sleeping they were perfect with comfortable beds. The terrace had a view of the sea. We felt very good. Thank you Dimitra.

Distance to the sea no more than 30 m. Beautiful sea and a beach without crowds. Nice and clean accommodation (daily cleaning) with sea view. Our vacation was great. There is a fishmonger nearby with fresh sea fish at excellent prices, and there is a barbecue in the yard - so if someone likes it, there is also that option.

Totally different from the pictures on booking/ official website. The room was so small, you can barely cook from the bed. The owner said they gonna clean the room every 2 days and change the sheets, but they clean it only once ( in 6 days) . In front of the house they have sunbeds and they are always empty, but the owner didn't allow you to use them if you not drink/ eat from her restaurant. You don t have parking place. Around 9 pm she turn off the lights from the yard and every balcony. Overall bad/ expensive experience.

The owner of Castro Deluxe was terrible. So annoying and a big bummer. Dont do that, dont seat there, dont park car here. She have own passterie shop and all day long asking you what do you want do drink. You can use it the beachfront sunbeds if u order first in the morning two drinks and again two drinks at afternoon. The other beach bars near Castro Deluxe give u opinion with two drinks to stay there all day if u want. Castro Deluxe have over 20 umbrellas with pair sunbeds, anytime of the day dont have more then 4 umbrellas occupied by guests, this telling you everything. + It's not superior or deluxe, the rooms are so small. ++ Internet connection is very poor.
