Giardini Mon Plaisir

An Amazing Stay! My wife and I just got back from beautiful Sicily and couldn’t be happier from finding this gem in the middle of Trapani. From the moment we contacted Agostino to the last day of our stay ( which was 7 days) he kept in constant contact with us. He asked us what we wanted to get out of our vacation and he suggested to us an itinerary with restaurant reservations, btw, all of them excellent choices! and even made us a picnic basket with wine, fruit, and delicious sandwiches! Giardini Mon Plaisir is a beautiful Villa with great gardens and a swimming pool. The rooms are immaculate and very comfortable! Simona and Alessandro, the staff, are very attentive, offering an amazing breakfast made to order, and providing advice on the daily excursions! If I could give more stars I would! Beautiful, reasonably priced hotel/B and B in Trapani, with parking and fantastic garden, yard, pool in the heart of Trapani. In good location, with restaurants and shopping nearby by, close to Erice funicular and walkable (30 minutes or more) to old city---I'm a fit 75 and and like to walk on vacation and had no problem. Excellent, quiet room, and excellent breakfast, not and cold, prepared for you rather than pre-prepared.

Beautifully restored historical building situated in an elegant garden inviting you to wind down after the city center bustle visit. Very inviting and relaxing for our family during our short stay in Trapani. Very comfortable rooms! Agostino, the host was very welcoming and attentive to our needs. Fantastic breakfast with high quality ingredients!

Our stay was fantastic! Agostino, our host, was so helpful, kind and attentive to all of our needs. He clearly loves the area, and was helpful with suggestions and arrangements. He seemed to know what we needed before we did! Breakfast was delicious. The hotel itself is lovely, with all sorts of historical bits related to the house and its legacy. Cannot recommend highly enough!

We were on a 2-week driving trip through Sicily, so we stayed at many wonderful places, but Giardini Mon Plaisir had the most personal service of all of them. We loved the on-site parking within their gates, large rooms, fantastic communication, and gluten-free breakfast options. Unfortunately, we were not able to enjoy the beautiful pool and garden because of the cold weather. Thank you, Agostino for a memorable visit!

The Giardini Mon Plasir is such a great hotel in which to stay whilst in Trapani with fantastic rooms and a nice pool to spend a lovely hour or two around. The owner and staff are so attentive and will gladly give detailed recommendations on what to see and do during the stay, even providing written guides to help find the best beaches and islands on which to start an adventure of discovery. The breakfasts provided at GMP are some of the best that I have ever experienced when staying in hotels and everything is so fresh and tasty. Even the orange juice is freshly squeezed from oranges in the garden. The location is a little out of the main tourist town but very close to Erice but with this you get much more space than you would be afforded in a hotel in the historic centre. In the nice Spring weather, the walk into the centre is a joy and you can stop at one of the many gelateriea on the trip towards the port. I would highly recommend this hotel and thank the staff for making our short stay so enjoyable.

Beautiful old villa in a quiet suburb of Trapani, surrounded by gardens which have lemon & olive trees and a swimming pool. The house is perfectly restored with marble floors, modern Italian furniture and some family antiques. Good bathrooms and firm but comfortable beds. It is possible to order a drink from the staff in the evening before you head out to dinner

Great place! Very nice attentive staff. Due to the small size of the hotel, six rooms, the feeling is very personal. We can recommend lunch in the pergola! The staff took care of everything from giving detailed tips to booking taxi and beach club. A hidden little gem in a residential area of the town. Walking distance to the Erice Cable Car that is also a recommendation to take.

From the moment you walk in, you are treated like an honored guest here. Agostino and Alessandro were incredibly welcoming. They took care of everything we needed and made the stay so enjoyable. Agostino made wonderful food recommendations and took care of our reservations without us even asking. I recommend having dinner in the garden one night and be sure to have one of Alessandro's delicious cocktails. Do note that the hotel is about 2 km outside of the historic center, so you need a car. But it is the perfect location for day trips or an evening cable ride to Erice (the cable car is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel and exploring Erice in the evening when many tourists have left is magical).
