Agriturismo Speziale Wine Resort

We stayed here for 7 days and it was magical. The staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms were cleaned and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the pillows not too fluffy!! The access to Speziale Pelaverga every night was definitely my favourite part!! Breakfast was delicious. Freshly baked breads and treats, eggs cooked to order. The coffee choices were endless and perfect. We didnt think we would use the optional steam/spa facililites but after a long day of hiking around the vineyards of the Langhe area they were a welcome relief for our bodies. The days were around 30c so I braved the non heated pool - whoop that was cold! We loved coming home everyday after exploring the area to our balcony and some wine. The resort offered a beautiful outdoor seating area but we were happy and content on our balcony enjoying the peace and scenery. The staff were really helpful and answered my one thousand questions about everything. They were also able to make reservations for us at restaurants when my brain could no longer cope with my gibberish Italian. Everywhere they recommended was fantastic. Verduno is blessed with some truly amazing restaurants. Our only hiccup was the air conditioning. Our room was in the sun the whole time so it heated up during the day when the ac was off. This was fixed after the first day so all was good. Highly recommend this for anyone wanting a peaceful break.

A highlight to our trip. We spent four of the best days exploring and savouring this magical area. Our stay at the picturesque and totally gorgeous Speziale Wine Resort was exceptional with our hosts most attentive to our every need. We loved every minute!

Katia and her team of wonderful staff were absolutely wonderful and their friendliness and accommodation was absolutely perfect. We stayed 3 nights with friends. Everything is well taken care of and Verduno is simply a place you have to visit. Beautiful with lot of nice restaurant in walking distance. I can truly recommend La Speziale and I am sure that we will be back to meet with Katia and her team. Our only regret is that we did not have time to visit their winery but we tested their wine and it was very good. Thank you for taking such a good care of us and we do hope that we will be back soon. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend! A beautiful resort. Small, intimate, but family friendly. The staff were kind and friendly. Rooms were clean and modern. Breakfast is amazing. Everything is fresh and locally sourced. They also offer an option to book a light lunch, which was great for our planned pool day. Several options in the village to walk to dinner. While having a car makes things easier to access, we visited without a car and arranged a private driver for touring and tasting.

This is a place to relax! What an a**osphere! The surroundings are stunning with a nice pool and sight of the valley. The rooms are clean and tasty furnished. Nice bed. I’ve never felt that welcome in a hotel before. The staff was extremely helpful, polite, positive and engaged in our wellbeing. Breakfast in a cosy and intimate room. Anna’s cakes, focaccia and other bakeries combined with tasty cheeses and salamies. I would really recommend this pearl of Verduno. We will be back!

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Beautiful rooms, pool and a great spa which is very new as well. The staff are super helpful and can recommend a great range of restaurants nearby. Great breakfast as well. The views from the hotel are not to be missed either.

Excellent location in a small village on top of a hill and surrounded by wine fields. The entire building, garden and pool area is very new and modern. The service is friendly and welcoming - the staff even helped making dinner reservations (which should not be forgotten in the busy months of summer).

Fin dal momento siamo stati accolti con un calore e una gentilezza autentica. Lo staff del resort ha dimostrato di capire appieno il significato dell'ospitalità, facendoci sentire a nostro agio in ogni istante della nostra permanenza. La cura per i dettagli si riflette in ogni aspetto, dall'eleganza delle camere alla bontà della colazione (tutte le torte e la focaccia sono fatte a mano). Ogni elemento è stato pensato per garantire il massimo comfort, la piscina + spa immersa nel verde con vista sulle Alpi, una chicca. In definitiva, Speziale è molto più di una semplice struttura ricettiva: è un'oasi di lusso, comfort e autentica ospitalità. Non vediamo l'ora di tornare e lasciarci nuovamente coccolare da questo incantevole rifugio!

A sorpresa mio marito per festeggiare il mio compleanno mi ha portato in questo fantastico agriturismo! La struttura è nuovissima, dotata di una zona benessere e la possibilità di fare un massaggio (lo consiglio, la ragazza è davvero brava). Le camere sono davvero belle e la colazione molto ricercata e ricca. Un posto davvero incantevole! Devo tornarci in estate: c'è la piscina!
