"BAD During our stay, a power outage severely impacted nearly every aspect of the guest experience. Essential services and amenities that formed part of the accommodation purchase were unavailable for a significant portion of our stay. Specifically, we were without air conditioning, television service, Wi-Fi, room lighting, and bathroom lighting. Additionally, the gym, spa, pool facilities, and elevator service were completely unavailable. Throughout the outage, the hotel provided little to no communication regarding the situation, expected duration, or available alternatives. Poor communication. At checkout, I was advised that no refund would be provided."

"It's a great hotel. The beautiful Birch Bay is right outside the door. You can hear the sound of the waves in the house, and you can see the snow-capped mountains from the window. There are also supermarkets and restaurants next to it."

"Great location directly across from Birch Bay. We got lucky as had a great unit with view of the bay where enjoyed the sunsets. Unit well stocked even has BBQ. Loved that resort does not charge excessive 'resort' fees (cleaning, wifi, etc). Only billed tax on arrival and of course a deposit. You can pay for WiFi if you want to have it. Great coffee shop in front of building and restaurants within walking distance. Quaint area. Lots to do in the area-strolling along the bay, hiking, biking, chilling. We headed to Vancouver/Victoria for the day. Butchart Gardens are not to be missed-its a full day with ferry and all. Peace Arch Park is also great. It's just minutes from Birch Bay-take your passport. You can be in Canada and USA at the same time. Was there Sunday thru Friday so was very peaceful during the week."
