Lovely hotel, really modern amenities. Courtyard is a lovely space to chill. Cooked Chinese breakfast was really delicious.

Overall a very good experience. Good location, nice design, not noisy, fast service, and lovely garden. Breakfast selection and food temperature need to be improved, staff can be more proactive about introducing the sights on the island and providing suggestion, shower was a little slippery when wet, and soap provided was pretty terrible.

First of all, I want to say that the Hotel is really nice, so the location, and I really had nice time there.
This said, I would like to point out that the service should really improve. It happened to me that I booked through Ctrip a room for 2 days. After few hours the hotel contacted me and referred that the room I booked "was not allowed to accept foreigner guests" (in the hotel description is written that foreigners are accepted). The hotel staff offered me another a room, actually nicer, for the same price. I accepted under this condition.
Once I arrived in the hotel, the hotel staff gave me a different room, not the one the offered me, another one - less nice (this one, differenly from what prospected, without balcony and smaller).
After my complains (if you propose to exchange my room for a better one and then you give me a different one, less nice of course, I might think you are in bad faith) the hotel staff gave us the promised room.
I also would like to point out that the room, after the first night, has not been really clean. Only the towel were changed. There still were our mugs with the coffe and the table was still dirty.
I understand that at the time of my trip there was a clear lack of staff due to the covid-peak that affected china. However, I since I still had to pay the full price for the hotel room I expect a full (and bettera=) service.
Therefore I think the hotel should definetely take note and improve the offered service.
