The most beautiful sunset of my entire Spanish trip absolutely has to be at Seville's "Metropol Parasol" (Setas de Sevilla)! This modern architectural marvel, designed by German master architect Jürgen Hermann Mayer, is my favorite structure in this fairytale city. As the world's largest wooden structure, composed of 4,000 interlocking wooden pieces, it serves as both a sunshade for locals and a mini-mountain for visitors.
Climbing to the top, you can wander along its winding, irregular pathways, enjoying panoramic views of the entire city. Under the soft pink glow of the sunset, couples were sharing kisses, while I simply soaked in the warmth of the sun and the gentle flow of time. How could one not envy days like these? It's pure magic! ✨
Admission to the top is €12, and it also includes a panoramic film about Seville, which is a great bonus. If you prefer, you can admire it from below without any charge.
