The hotel is in an ancient monastery and it makes all the charm and attraction of the place if you like ”old stones and historical places”. The renovation has kept the original building and improved it to todays comfort. The rooms ( cells) are small but well fitted with a comfortable bed and functional bathroom. You can feel History when you enter the building and anywhere you walk . They have a big outdoor park for pleasant walks . The church adjacent to the Hotel is worth visiting. I was staying on a weekend and I attended the Sunday mass. My only negative note is on the breakfast which is very disappointing in terms of product variety and quality. The set up of the breakfast buffet is very poor and not attractive at all. The breakfast team is not as welcoming and friendly as the front desk or lady at the bar, which is not meeting one's expectations in such a place.

Ótima qualidade de serviço, pequeno almoço muito bom, instalações limpas e boas. Muita simpatia e profissionalismo da equipa presente.

Casa de Santa Comba is absolutely lush. The staff are very relaxed and flexible, having to arrive late was no problem, and they were very accommodating of us at breakfast as were vegetarian and there aren’t many vegetarians in Portugal! They were also very accommodating when we requested a fridge for our wine. The building and surrounding estate is beautiful, with lots of animals around – geese, horses, dogs, swallows, fish in the ponds – and lots of lemon trees bursting with fruit and beautiful flower bushes everywhere. A dreamy place, would love to stay here again. Will miss the bright morning song of the canary in their office which you can hear from the breakfast room!

Мое пребывание в отеле было фантастическим. Расположение отличное, близко к основным достопримечательностям и общественному транспорту. Номер был просторным, чистым и хорошо обставленным, с удобными кроватями и современными удобствами. Персонал был невероятно дружелюбным и внимательным, всегда готовым помочь с улыбкой. Завтрак «шведский стол» предлагал большое разнообразие вкусных блюд. Мне также понравился фитнес-центр и бассейн отеля, которые были в хорошем состоянии. В целом, мой опыт был замечательным, и я бы настоятельно рекомендовал его всем, кто ищет комфортное и удобное место для проживания.

The most important thing — this is not really spa hotel. There is spa center across the road, but the only one benefit that you have as a guest of the hotel is 10% discount. In total if you want to have a spa, you must pay extra 30 euros per person per day. I think its not so fare for guests. And the second thing is that you have only scrambled eggs and bacon as a hot dish for the breakfast. In the rest moments — everything is fine, staff is friendly, room was clean (but there is no fridge or mini-bar, that strange).

Very comfortable hotel in a central location. Very good breakfast with friendly service. I will be staying there again when in Braga.

The service was five star from the initial greeting through to check out. Accommodation was modern with glass doors and quality fittings plus a coffee machine which was a nice touch. Spa was very good although you need a shower cap for the pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast was excellent and they even provided gluten-free pastries which was a lovely touch. Finally, the vineyard and surrounding areas are stunning.

Какое прекрасное место — скорее курорт, чем отель. Замечательная зона у бассейна с великолепно цветущими растениями, и прямо через дорогу от пляжа. Мы наслаждались (и переели) завтраком ”шведский стол”. Наш номер был комфортабельным, с просторной ванной комнатой, большим количеством места в шкафу и собственным балконом с видом на бассейн. Жаль, что наши планы не позволили нам остаться подольше.
