There appeared to be a misunderstanding between the hotel and Trip.com as we booked the stay with breakfast stated as included but the hotel reception said they had not provided breakfast for a long time, since Covid19 started. They needed to sort this between themselves. However, the manager was gracious to refund us the cost of breakfast at a nearby cafe.
The location of the hotel was near to a number of bus stops for different directions.
The view from our room window was very poor, just an internal air well.

Cute spot. Lots of young festive people running around. The DJ at the pool slapped. Would recommend for families and single folk and couples alike. Quick short walk to old town and lots of food options nearby.

一路沿着101，終於不要住汽車旅館了，房間太棒了。開了幾千公里，居然有這麼性價比的房間。表示非常的滿意。

Room was nice. Maid service was non-existent. Asking for room service … they indicated we must ask for it the previous day. Even when we got… they didn’t even make the bed. Front desk was confused at checkout and tried to bill me again after I already pre-paid. Probably will not stay at Hilton again.

This hotel was nice, but small. It would have been nice to have a little bit bigger space and to have a coffee maker in the room. There was a strange loud rumbling sound in the bathroom, but you really couldn't hear it in the other part of the room. The other thing that would be nice is to be able to hook my laptop up to the tv to watch my streaming channels on the big screen, but the input channels on the tv were shut off so you couldn't use them. All in all for the price, I really enjoyed my stay.

This depends on the guest's purpose of visit, but mine was for business.
Having said that, the nearby train rail which runs all day long including late-night and early-morning does not help (You can hear this from the entire hotel).
There is a small pizzeria, which seems to be attracting the town's 'night-crowds', and you can hear their V8 muscle engine at late night, which also did not help (You only hear this from one side of the hotel).
Other than those two noise issues, the hotel is located at a very quiet and calm part of the town neighboring to many business buildings.
Cleanliness :
It's been newly renovated not long ago and things are clean and tidy.
However, the hotel only offers a light duvet so I pulled out the fleece like blanket from the closet and it had many strands of hair stuck to it. This was my second time staying here and I had this same experience the first time I stayed so it proves that the hotel does not wash these blankets.
Service :
Check-in & Check-out was smooth and staffs were friendly. Also, the room cleaning service was good.
My only complaint is, that it does not offer a in-room slippers.
I am fully aware of environmental issue regarding disposable products but this is only thing you really need from the hotel, and is very difficult to bring along &/ buy, when you are traveling. I completely agree with not offering tooth brush, hair comb, razor & etc. but I really wish and expect to be offered a pair of slippers from a premium brand hotel. I think Mariott is big enough to come up with a creative way to offer slippers to its guests for their comfort & conveniency, in a way that doesn't harm our environment.
Facility :
It has a nice lobby with large TV showing news or sports games. Offers a small snack bar with drinks. All clean and nice.
Also has a fitness gym facility and a washing machine / laundry room. I only found out this time (2nd time staying here) but if I am back, I will be using them for sure.

Ночная парковка, которая находится примерно в 10-15 минутах ходьбы, не находится на территории отеля и стоит всего 20 долларов за ночь, но после 22:00 гулять здесь небезопасно из-за проблем с бездомными в этом районе. Не думаю, что вернусь в этот отель. Я определенно не считаю, что это трехзвездочный отель, я бы дал ему 2,5 из 4 или 5 звезд. Завтрак был в лучшем случае континентальным. Выпечка с соком или кофе и фруктами. Иногда давали йогурт или овсянку в коробках с овсяным молоком, но ничего особенного, и если приехать до 9 утра, то продукты могут закончиться. В Портленде много интересного, но из-за проблемы с бездомными я искал рекомендации лучших достопримечательностей и обходил стороной проблемные районы. Парк Вашингтона и художественный музей были очень интересными. До водопада Малтнома можно было добраться на целый день, и приехать туда очень рано, так как парковка ужасная, или же можно припарковаться за пределами отеля и доехать на трамвае. С меня также взяли дополнительную плату в размере 25 долларов за ночь, о которой не было сказано в квитанции на trip.com.

ГГость.The hotel left a mixed impression. Despite the excellent reviews and not being the cheapest option, we were overall disappointed.
Starting with the positives:
A very convenient location in a pleasant, green, and quiet neighborhood not far from downtown. There are plenty of great cafés, small shops, restaurants, and wine bars nearby.
Polite and friendly staff at the front desk.
Interesting room design.
Spacious parking available for hotel guests.
Large rooms.
Now the downsides:
Thin walls and creaky floors made it very difficult to sleep. The soundproofing is basically nonexistent. The young couple staying in the next room was clearly enjoying their time together, which unfortunately meant a very uncomfortable experience for us. In addition, the refrigerator in the room was extremely noisy — not only did it hum loudly when running, but it also made constant knocking sounds.
The breakfast was exceptionally poor. The only “hot” items seemed to be the coffee and a dishwasher, which, oddly enough, was placed right in the middle of the breakfast area.
There were two small TVs in the room, both positioned very inconveniently for viewing, and neither had streaming services available.
The housekeeping staff was intrusive — within a 20-minute period, they knocked on the door three times (and even tried to open it once), apparently trying to hurry us out, even though it was still before checkout time.

ГГостьThis hotel smells like Christmas morning because of the fireplaces and the scent diffusers, very cool feature I haven't seen anywhere else. Very nice front desk staff, windows that open, fireplaces, and despite an ongoing renovation there wasn't any chaotic banging / drilling or paint, they kept everything very professional. There are 3 different Marriot properties all next to each other in this area, this Residence, the Fairfield and the Courtyard. They all sort of share the same parking lot, it feels secure, although you get some loud cars coming through and this hotel is right off the highway exit, so some people complain about car noise. I didn't notice / mind it that much. For some reason the nightly rates went way up since I stayed here, from around $108 to now over $170 before taxes. At the initial rate, it was an amazing deal and the best Residence Inn by far. At this new price it's still a solid, very clean and professional hotel but I think it's priced too expensive relative to the amenities.

ГГостьThis is my favorite Marriott in the Portland metro right now. Front desk girls are super cool and great energy, plenty of snacks, the neighborhood is very quiet and secure parking. But my favorite thing is the room design themselves, very efficient desk setup (king room through executive suite, every room has these), windows open ALL THE WAY UP! so you can get tons of fresh air, and lots of streaming options Netflix / Amazon Prime Video / PlutoTV / Youtube / Pandora. Fairfield is really winning at the amenities game, and the hotel is impeccably clean throughout. This Lake Oswego property is outside of the downtown area, so you don't get the weirdos wandering around screaming late at night which is an interesting ”Feature” of other hotels downtown. Also somehow this Fairfield also has really competitive rates so you're almost getting the best deal in town. Definitely glad I found this hotel and will be back soon.

ГГостьAll the staff was very nice. Carina was the staff for the breakfast and was AMAZING! She always checked on us and cl Aned tables and restocked. I was checking out on Easter and she was working as hard as ever and with a smile on her face! I had my son give her a tip. I don’t think many people see her tip jar on the windowsill because it’s not near any of the food items. Trust me, she deserves it. The pool and hot tub were perfect each day and very clean. The gentleman that was cleaning the pool was also extremely friendly. The room was very clean with a microwave and fridge and desk. My oldest son stayed at the dorms at Linfield and I believe he’ll be going there in the fall. I will make this our destination to visit him. 5 stars for sure! Kindly, Katie Barnhart

IIris Ng MYThe hotel room itself is not bad at all. The room is spacious, clean and tv has lots of channels to view. I’m even more surprised that the room has some yoga mat for working out.
However I would not go to this hotel again because I got woken up at 3am and 5am by the garbage truck outside. My room is located at the end of the 1st floor facing the parking lot which is just besides the garbage bins. It’s very awful to hear such noises at the middle of the night and both my family and I couldn’t go back to sleep again. It surely ruined our trip. I don’t think the hotel is that full to give us such a room and I have booked this room 2 months ago. I never know truck would come pick up at midnight…
