The former site of Beihai Street Ferry is located at the intersection of Beihai Old Street, now Zhuhai. In 1895, after the completion of Beihai Old Street in the Qing Dynasty, Beihai and Lianzhou Street strengthened business and trade. The merchants from Lianzhou Street to Beihai all came by ferry. Merchant and goods were on this ferry and went straight to the old street. Therefore, Beihai people called the pier "street ferry". There are still billboards on the wall, which has been designated as a "Beihai Cultural Relics Protection Unit" in 2009. Transportation: Multiple buses get off at People's Theatre Station and walk for about 10 minutes. It is best to take a taxi, because the waiting time for Beihai bus is inconvenient.
