Great place to escape the heat!

This is basically a out and back walk through a lava cave/tube. Ground is uneven and and not much variety in cave. Museum is worth a visit to learn about all the volcanic activity.

Dress warm and bring your own flashlight

lava challenge

The experience is certainly unique. I recommend a high power, hand held flash light...Head lamps don't give a clear light view. Cold, wear extra. clothing. Footing is challenging, but worth it.
