This cultural treasure is closed to the public.
This wonderful building isn't open. It is near a nice park, which was the Jewish Ghetto during the war. The adjacent park is very nice with another monument, which badly needs to be cleaned up.

Impressive building and surroundings
The entire area surrounding the Synagogue has a special atmosphere, I recommend a walk there and in the park just in front. The Synagogue itself it's a very interesting piece of architecture.

... und wurde im 17.Jahrhundert erbaut. 1944 wurde sie durch die Truppen der NS-Besatzungsmacht zerstört und zwischen 1953 und 1963 wieder aufgebaut. Heute ist sie ein völlig profanisiertes Gebäude...
