Great place to stay. Ruined by day trippers emptying portaloos down toilets and blocking them. Happens every day. Just watched 3 of them. Now blocked. Third time we have stayed here. Love it.

Camp for a few days or just make a day trip of it from Yeppoon. Waterpark Creek is a must see in the Byfield National Park. We forgot to bring lunch with us on this day so we headed down to Ferns Hide...

Lovely bush camp + noisy locals

Great spot albeit a 1/2 hr drive from Yeppoon, think locals use it as a party spot as both nights we stayed there was hooning & loud music, get a site away from the day use area to avoid this.
