Sea Dunes is a spacious and comfortable, traditional Croyde bungalow, offering everything that you will need for a relaxing holiday. It is perfectly located in the village, within easy walking distance of the award winning sandy beach and also the thatched cottages, shops, pubs and restaurants in the centre of the village.There is a decked dining area at the front & a patio at the rear of the property.Free Wi-Fi There is an outbuilding that can store surf boards, wet suits etc.There is a decked area at the front of the property, which has sea views across the sand dunes and bay to the headland on the far side. This is ideal for a quiet glass of wine in the evening. From the decking, large patio doors lead into the large open plan living area, with a TV and DVD player and sofas in the lounge, which is over 24 ft in length and then two small steps lead up into the dining area, with its large pine table and chairs and the fully equipped kitchen.Sea Dunes is ideal for larger families or two families, as it will sleep 8 people easily and up to a maximum of 10. There are four bedrooms in total, two double bedrooms (one of which is en suite), a twin room with two single beds, a bedroom with bunk beds and a double sofa bed in the lounge.At the back of the property there is a large patio area with garden furniture which is ideal for BBQ's. There is also an outbuilding that has facilities to store surf boards and wet suits.The entire bungalow and its grounds are all included in the rental price.Ample parking. Being the only let on the family run farm, guests have the run of the roost when they stay . The Pod looks out over undisturbed woodland without a road or telegraph pole in site. It is run off of a solar charged battery pack and we use eco friendly toiletries. There is a heated gas shower and glass topped bathroom unit which boasts views out over the valley and woodland. We are a stones throw from both exmoor and Dartmoor and only 1 hours drive from some of north Devons finest beaches! sit back and relax in our little, undisturbed slice of Devon! Nestled in the quiet valley we call home on the edge of Exmoor is our spacious bell tent comprised of 2 7meter quad-door bell tents joined together to form a kitchen, dining and living space that leads into the bedroom made up of one double and two single beds with a further double pull out bed in the living space, with a gas heated shower and composting toilet to yourselves. Should you require more space for more guests, you can bring your own tents (please see below)Outside, there is a BBQ area with BBQ and gas hob for cooking as well as ample open space for dog walking and children to play. We are dog friendly but please be aware that we live in a rural area with lots of livestock round so please be cautious in areas with animals and keep dogs on leads in occupied fields.Please let me know how many guests you will be bringing with you so we can set up beds accordingly. for additional guests beyond 6, guests may bring their own tents. Neil's Worden Barn is a two storey converted grain barn located on a quiet country lane in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Within walking distance of a large village with all the amenities you could need. We are just 15 mins by car away from the beautiful North Cornish and North Devon coastlines. The popular resort of Bude with its famous surfing beaches is just 20 minutes away by car. Ample opportunities in the immediate vicinity for walking and cycling.The spaceThe accommodation has been fashioned from a quirky little stone built grain barn that predates the farmhouse. There are two bedrooms, one with a king-sized bed, the other with bunk beds. There is a sofa bed which could accommodate an extra person. The kitchen is well equipped and has a dishwasher and washing machine. In the garden there is a retractable washing line. The downstairs areas are surprisingly spacious with room in the lounge for a separate dining area. Slate floors downstairs mean the barn is cool in summer, but central heating and a log burner ensure it is cosy and warm if the weather is cooler.Guest accessGuests can access some of the farm’s fields for recreational purposes, but care must be taken when moving around the yard area. There are no longer animals on the farm apart from a neighbour’s sheep and lambs in the top field. Please do not allow your dog to distress the sheep in this field. We are very rural but places of interest are just a short drive away and our village is 1 mile away. Very ‘doable’ on foot.
