The hotel is very basic and functional but feels tired overall. The room was clean on the surface, but the floor was dusty; I knelt down to unpack on arrival and my trousers picked up a lot of visible dirt, which suggests the cleaning could be more thorough. The lighting throughout the room is very bright white, which makes it hard to relax in the evenings. There are no softer or warmer lighting options. Amenities are minimal. There was no kettle, cups or basic hospitality tray, which would normally be expected by international travellers. The furniture and fittings feel dated, and while everything worked, the room lacked comfort. The bathroom was clean but very utilitarian, and the overall impression is of an older hotel that hasn’t been fully refreshed. Acceptable for a short stay if you just need a place to sleep, but not somewhere I’d choose for comfort or relaxation.

The hotel is clean and spotless. Spa thermal pool opens long hour from 8am to 10pm which is very convenient. Buffet dinner €18 per person is reasonable and food is good. Breakfast is average, lack of hot dishes. The cafe bar offers some Thai cuisine. They are yummy but very small portions. Me and my husband ordered 3 main courses but were still hungry. We wanted to order the 4th course ”Style Thai beef wok” with an additional bowl of rice and we'd pay for the rice. However the waitress refused simply because a bowl of rice is not on the menu! I suggest the hotel to remove the Style Thai beef wok from the menu if they're not able to provide a bowl of rice to go with it. This is authentic Thai style of eating! Very disappointed ! The cafe service need to improve, too rigid, not customer oriented.

Отличный четырехзвездочный отель, персонал на стойке регистрации услужливый, профессиональный и дружелюбный, отличные условия проживания. Я считаю, что платить дополнительную плату за парковку в размере 15 евро в их подземном гараже, откровенно говоря, является ненужной доплатой для гостей отеля… парковка на близлежащих улицах затруднена. Еда была просто обычной, хотя и немного с завышенной ценой, мой антрекот из телятины был в основном хорошим, но местами жестким и жевательным, чипсы - ничего выдающегося, я бы посоветовал пойти куда-нибудь поесть во многих отличных ресторанах на соседней улице. В целом, хорошее четырехзвездочное размещение, но ресторана не хватает из-за средней еды и цен, которые почти слишком высоки для того, что вы получаете.

LOVELY and beautiful hotel WITH A GREAT BUFFETT BREAKFAST FOR A GOOD PRICE. IT OVER EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. Ana, Antonio and Son's have a wonderful way to treat their clientela. And Merce, the head housekeeper is always on the look to assistance you with whatever your needs are. She's absolutely the best, a real asset to this corporation. My only suggestion is to install safety bars in the bathrooms. But it's a great place to stay, whether itsolo or with fanily .family . Young children will enjoy the swing set on the beautiful garden

A pesar de algunas reseñas malas, todo fue bastante bien. La habitación era limpia y luminosa, con un televisor muy grande y camas cómodas. Tenían la calefacción, que funcionaba muy bien. Solo hubo tres cosas pequeñas que no me gustaron: 1. La ventana estaba un poco rota y no conseguí cerrarla completamente, pero no fue una gran molestia por esta razón. 2. La manta me pareció que olía un poco mal. 3. Preferiría que estuviera incluido un tubito de pasta dental. Pero, con este precio y todo lo bueno, puedo decir que es un buen sitio.

perfeta la ubicación , la habitación muy fría la primera noche , aunque pusimos el climatizador y el baño helado. Sin bañera a pesar de que el tipo de habitación escogida , por lo menos en las fotos si la había y la cama dos colchones en vez de uno, también sin opción de cambiar al preguntar.

Lovely family run hotel situated in the outskirts of Santander , in a rural location with stunning views. Javier the host was warm and welcoming and extremely helpful. The rooms are beautiful , clean and the shower is superb. Breakfast was perfect, with delicious Spanish offerings. We want to come back to stay longer, as so much to do in surrounding areas and this is a great place to stay. The only thing that could be improved would be to provide a fan or air conditioning unit .

We were happy with our stay at Hotel Citrea and it was convenient for the town and rail/bus stations. The room was well styled and designed and the shower was excellent. Our twin bedded room had 2’6” beds so these felt a bit small but the bedding was good. We had a kettle, cups & tea tray in the room. 2 chairs and table made it comfortable. Sound proofing wasn’t the best but still good value, The staff gave very good customer service.
