В целом отель очень хороший. Чисто, вежливый персонал и идеальное расположение. Парковка на общественной парковке за углом стоит около 20 фунтов стерлингов в сутки. На сайте было написано, что отель предлагает халяльную еду, но по прибытии нам сказали, что они не уверены, что это так. Персонал также сообщил нам, что мы не сможем поесть в ресторане в этот день, так как у них забронирован столик для какого-то мероприятия. Но, по нашему мнению, об этом следовало сообщить заранее по электронной почте или каким-либо другим способом. В остальном, я считаю, что этот отель — лучший в этом районе, очень стильный и гостеприимный.

This is my first hotel booking with Trip and I must say I was skeptical at first whether it would go through. Thankfully, the hotel did receive the confirmation. Just needed to tell the receptionist your surname and they’ll be able to locate you in their system. We were passed complimentary cookies, which were really yummy. The bed in the double room was smaller than expected but it was still good enough for two adults. The rooms are not very soundproof so you can hear the outside cars if you’re on the side facing the city. But if you’re not overly sensitive, the sounds are acceptable. The 24/7 gym was fairly well-equipped for the space capacity. They had gym towels, sanitary wipes, and water refiller. The hotel breakfast was enjoyable as well. The restaurant had a good view. Overall, the stay was a really good deal! Would use Trip.com again.

Отель немного онемел. Мне было предложено выехать в 11 часов, мы обсудили с сотрудниками стойки регистрации, можно ли выехать в 12 часов дня, на что им ответили, что за каждый номер нужно будет доплатить 20 фунтов 😨 Завтрак был не очень разнообразным, только газированный сок и апельсиновый сок, и никаких вареных или жареных яиц. Все толпились в общественной зоне в вестибюле на первом этаже, чтобы поесть, как будто это была столовая на стройплощадке. I love Charlton house, it was really quirky. The way it has been styled is really unusual. It makes you feel like you're in a bit of a fantasy world with the little corridors and quirky little nooks and crannies. For me it fit the bill, it did the job that I needed but I understand for those people that do not get it on an offer and pay a lot of money to stay there I understand how they might say that it's a bit dirty a bit tired a bit grubby and needs a bit of TLC. There seemed to be one very sweet man that was running around doing pretty much everything and the rest of the staff were hidden behind doors or just not there. I'm not sure. There were staff present in the spa and they were lovely and helpful and kind. My little room was gorgeous and cute and cozy, and clean enough although tatty in places. For me I really had a nice day and I would definitely come back. The breakfast was extremely basic but I didn't have extremely high expectations, and I'm not really a breakfast person, so again it may not make the tick box for others but it did the job for me. The hotel is attractive and full of charm, with a pleasant aspect facing the church, however, the surrounding area of Bridgwater is rather run down.  Staff were very efficient and checked us in quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the restaurant as it was closed due to it being Father's Day. Our room was ok, and had a large bathroom with both shower and separate bath. There was plenty of hot water available, but aware that it was almost scalding when allowed to run without cold added. The bed was comfortable and the room well equipped with tea facilities, ironing board and iron and hair dryer. Due to the age of the building, there was a lot of noise from residents walking around in the rooms above ours, but it wasn't too obtrusive. Breakfast was very good with a choice of full English or continental and my gluten allergy was catered for.  If you  need to stay in Bridgwater, then I would recommend The Old Vicarage, but we would probably look in the villages further out of the town in future.

Персонал на ресепшене был очень любезен и обеспечил отличное обслуживание. Обязательно посетите парк Генриетты, который находится прямо рядом с отелем. Если вам повезет, вы даже можете увидеть белку. Это отличный способ отдохнуть в лесу и снять усталость от путешествия!

First stay here and will definitely return. 3rd stay at a Mercure brand hotel and cannot fault any! Bridgewater is a pleasant town with plenty of places to enjoy and pass the time. The hotel is spotlessly clean, rooms are very nice with excellent air conditioning if you need it! Comfortable beds, all mod cons including Samsung TV, USB sockets by the beds, ambient lighting, storage well thought out, small fridge, room service, fabulous bathrooms with waterfall shower and lovely extras such as decent shower wash and hair wash, make up/shaving mirror with lighting. Very secure hotel with 24 hour reception and lift only operable with key cards. Didn't try the hotel restaurant but judging by the volume of people eating there I'd assume very good! Nothing to fault!

Perfect spot for exploring Bath, very central and easy to walk to the station, shops and attractions. The apartment was spotlessly clean with everything we needed, and felt secure in the lovely courtyard. We extended our stay as we felt so at home there. There looked to be a secure left luggage store which we may have used if we’d seen it earlier. Would be useful to have info about this in the apartment info pack. There is some noise from the street for apartment 7, partly from early deliveries to Thermae Spa which is directly opposite, and also from people wandering through the echoey passageways at night. We got used to it by the end of our stay, but light sleepers might prefer one of the inward facing apartments.
