"You have all what to expect from that kind of hotel a place to sleep and a parking lot just outside the hotel. I stayed for business and location is quite in an industrial zone. So expect to take the car if needed to go somewhere in the city to eat. Rooms are clean and all yoh need. As always these kinds of hotel have no elevator, so expect to walk up stairs to reach your room. Desk to work is quite small but it does the job. Breakfast was good value for money. I think for a business trip this hotel is fine, it's a place you stay to have a place to sleep, have breakfast and leave early. It's not a place I'd recommend for people on holidays. It's just a very convenient hotel for people on the go."

Наш номер был в довольно плачевном состоянии. Я бы попросил поменять его, если бы мы остались больше чем на одну ночь. Держатель для туалетной бумаги был сломан, унитаз не закрывался, в душе не было полочки, чтобы положить туда средства личной гигиены, и пахло сыростью. Неприемлемо. В качестве позитивного момента. Нам очень понравилось пить напитки на террасе, а еда была очень приличной. Весь персонал был превосходным. Жаль, что сам отель кажется обделённым вниманием, ведь у него есть потенциал стать действительно потрясающим."

"Do not be fooled by the beautiful photographs of Château de Courcelles. The stunning exterior, gardens and picturesque setting are clearly the main attraction, because unfortunately that is where the “luxury experience” ends. Behind the postcard-perfect image is one of the most disappointing, poorly managed and shocking hotel experiences we have ever had. We arrived as a group of girls celebrating a birthday, expecting the luxury and exceptional hospitality promised by a Relais & Châteaux property. Instead, the disappointment started before we even stepped inside. As our taxi arrived, a member of staff watched from the reception window as four women struggled to drag five heavy suitcases across gravel. Not one step outside to help. Not one offer of assistance. Nothing. We eventually reached reception ourselves, only for a female colleague to then be asked to carry all our luggage up two flights of stairs. A truly unforgettable welcome… just not for the right reasons. The rooms? A complete contrast to the glamorous photographs. Dark, dated, tired and visibly neglected, with cobwebs and obvious maintenance issues. Luxury? Unfortunately, no. If you are allocated Room 12, refuse it immediately. On our first night, we discovered what can only be described as a spider infestation. Not one harmless little countryside visitor. Not two. Multiple large spiders crawling throughout the room, in corners and even on the bed. Yes, the bed. At 1am, terrified, we called reception for help. The only person who arrived was a member of the kitchen staff, who told us he was not responsible and would contact someone else. Nobody came. No follow-up. No help. The “24-hour reception” advertised by the hotel appears to be purely fictional. We called repeatedly and went downstairs ourselves, only to find complete silence. We had no choice but to abandon our room and squeeze four adults into one bed in our friends’ room because our own room was simply uninhabitable. The response the next morning was honestly unbelievable. No apology. No manager visit. No urgency. Instead, we were told: “It’s the countryside.” Of course, spiders exist in the countryside. However, a room with multiple large spiders crawling on the bed and throughout the room is not acceptable anywhere, especially not at a luxury hotel. Even staff looked shocked when shown the photographs, yet management still attempted to downplay the situation. Then, because apparently the stay had not been memorable enough, both of our rooms lost electricity for hours. We reported it immediately, but there was no urgency to resolve it or move us. The hallways still had power while our rooms remained in darkness. It genuinely felt as though our rooms had simply been forgotten, knowing we would be out during the day. We returned unable to shower properly, prepare for the evening or iron our clothes, causing us to be late for dinner. Once again, Lucas the manager dismissed the issue. No apology. No accounta"

"HHONTEUX !! NO COMPATIBLE !!!! I put the minimum note because I can not put less not for the quality of the service but rather for the lack of compatible of these people. We had to make a small periphery in three different places for our 10 years of marriage, and unfortunately we had to cancel it because my husband's grandmother died suddenly in Portugal and he had to leave for the gifts. The other 2 reservations have been cancelled for the first without charge and delayed the date for the next to not lose the forecast. He said that any cancellation was lost and that the payment was lost. He didn't want to delay the date unless he arrived to relocate it between time and keeping us aware only of the morning of the booking. He just told us he had already had too many cancellations for weather or other bidden reasons and that he had mouths to feed so he will not make the refund or delay as well. He asked us for 1 death certificate I don't know why because he doesn't refund but Sil had wanted to refund or change date I would have provided him with even the air tickets proving the authenticity of this sudden event. He has republished 1 post on Facebook marking promo follow cancellation and we lose the amount of the night ... 399 euros yet and a 250e guarantee that remains blocked while we didn't go. I was very disappointed because to book for account he had well wanted to block the next !!! Maybe I should have asked my grandmother to delay her death, I think she would in any case have accepted."

"Just returned from an amazing trip to le lac. Travelled as a family, 2 boys 10 and 7. Absolutely loved it! We stayed in a vip lakeside lodge, cannot fault it. Absolutely beautiful! The views over the lake, just watching the swans, geese and ducks! Could spend hours there. We were cottage 621 which was one of the best 2 bed ones along that stretch. We had a nosey at some of the others, which appeared to have the view restricted by trees. The beach bar was lovely! Sun beds are free to use. I do think you have to pay for the cushions if needed. We had cocktails from the beach bar which were not the best and a little pricey. Mcds on site which is handy. Again slightly more expensive than your usual mcds. Room was clean, site was kept beautiful. The soft play was ok for younger ones but my 10 year old got bored quick. We have been to 6 different sites, village nature, het meerdal, dk, erpeheide, de Haan and le lac. For me le lac was my favourite site. So pretty!"

Good parking, and there is a cracking sit-down Chinese restaurant 4 minute. walk from the hotel (Asiawok 5 Rue du Bois des Roses, 02100) Nice, clean room, no coffee or tea making facilities though, but a vending machine for water etc. Plenty of hot water for shower etc. Bit out of the way for the town I think, but ok as an overnight stop on the way to somewhere else."
