"We enjoyed delicious Indian Cuisine! There is an extensive menu to choose from, both Indian and European dishes. A complimentary taster dish of zing chicken in crunchy coating, and poppadom each with a lovely small dish of relish to put on it was a really nice touch. We didn't have to wait long for our starters: loaded Halloumi fries, vegetable Samosas and chicken Pakora - all thoroughly enjoyed. Pat often came to ask if we needed anything, and he made sure we had drinks. We didn't have to wait long at all for our main meals, because when Pat came to clear away our plates, he asked us if we were ready. Everything was piping hot and full of flavour. Sophie, our lovely waitress, and Pat, Maitre d', were extremely attentive and kind. We couldn't fault any of it our whole evening was delightful. We asked for some changes to our choices, and that was no trouble at all. One of our friends has special dietary requirements, gluten-free and dairy-free. The chef took great care and a plate of sea bass, carrots and asparagus, with mashed potato made with coconut milk was enjoyed. One of us, who wasn't able finish her meal was given a container to take her left-overs home, which was a nice touch. This was our 3rd time dining there and we'll definitely be back! Pat shook our hands when we left - a true gentleman."

"We've just had a three night stay at the Seafield Arms Hotel in Whitehills near Banff, it made a great base for exploring the towns of the Moray coast. The hotel is small, the bar is lively, the staff are attentive and the restaurant is superb. This is not just posh pub grub, the kitchen staff produce food that exceeded our (high) expectations by a bigger margin than anywhere we've ever eaten. The bedrooms aren't large but they are nicely furnished, the bed was extremely comfortable. There's an attractive beer garden. We really enjoyed our stay"
