Booked 2 x plus rooms for family on same booking, 4 months in advance, yet given rooms on different floors, one room was of poor standard. not a plus room.

Loved the hotel, we did struggle to find it as it is set back on the road and isn't as obvious as a normal premier inn. But that being said the location is fantastic we had sea view and a balcony!!! What I will say is please fix your 2nd lift, we were on the 7th floor and had to walk the stairs nearly everytime due to the over use of the smaller lift.

There bar was closed 2 hours early because ‘’ they ran out of stock’’ which is not a good excuse because most premier inns just say what that out of and what we can’t order no need to shut the whole bar down. When I went to speak to an employee I had to wait 15 minutes for one to be on reception. On top of that I went down for breakfast at 10:30 to see the tables cleared no food there and no staff around. However the staff were kind on greeting us there and checking out.

Great location, sea view, large spacious room, very clean. Excellent staff especially the man on the desk who checked us in and out - he was so helpful.

Check in had a massive queue. On check in they couldn’t find my reservation at first. The main lift was out of order, smaller lift (fits 2 people!) had such a big queue that we used the stairs. Not ideal while waiting on surgery for my legs. We then went to the restaurant, this was just after 4, but it was closed with no signs of it opening or information about hours. Went down to the bar. It was unstaffed and empty. We returned to the hotel that evening. The bar seemed to be staffed by the one staff member who was also on reception. So they were over worked, and frequently had to wait around to get drinks. The bar area also had multiple tables with glasses around, people with shoes off and feet up on chairs, who had been at the beach, and in general was really unpleasant. The next morning at breakfast we got seated next to an area that had bits of food all over the floor. Staff seemed to notice this, even sat someone right at that table, and still didn’t tidy any of it up. Was still dirty when we finished up our breakfast. Breakfast quality itself was fine, nothing great at all and not really worth the money. Even the orange juice was squash, not fresh. The room itself was fine, if you ignored the duct tape holding down the carpet between the toilet and room. Which was also coming away.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, but no drawer space! The WIFI as inadequate - even in our premier plus room, I had to complain twice and get new codes three times before I could connect three devices to the WIFI. The third set of codes the receptionist gave me three different codes to ensure I was able to connect my devices for a very important meeting. There were stains on the end of the bed, and when we first went to our room one of the casters off the bed was on the floor.

We booked a family room here for the very reasonable price of £75 + breakfast. When we pulled up outside I saw the kids faces drop when they looked up at the dirty fronted old looking hotel over a ******…. But from the moment we stepped inside our first impression was completely squashed. Lovely checking in experience and then we had our room key - 801. So off we zoomed up and up in the lift. The kids took the key and ran excitedly ahead of me into the MOST fabulous hotel suite! I was expecting one room with four beds squashed in so you can imagine how delighted I was with 2 large bedrooms, a living area, 2 fridges, dressing area and 🌊 sea and pier views out of two huge windows! The vista was gorgeous. I was so happy as were the kids. My son said it’s the nicest hotel he’s ever stayed at. Obviously it goes without saying that the beds were also super comfy☺️ When leaving I asked at reception if we had been upgraded and he said we had, we were in a Premier Plus room but at present there’s no way of booking these rooms so it’s pot luck if you get one or not. We certainly felt super lucky to get one and I won’t ever forget our 1️⃣ fun night in Bournemouth. Thanks Premier Inn team ❤️

Brilliant location and rooms. Terrible staff and terrible service. Don't be put off by the front exterior, and the hotel is absolutely fine / in line with premier inn brand. But if you need any kind of additional assistance don't expect it here, staff barely spoke English, were rude and quite frankly we won't be returning based on that.

We stay in Premier Inns when we can if possible when travelling, rarely are we dissapointed. This Hotel is very well located in the centre of Bournemouth, and we had a fantastic room with a great view of the beach and sea. Took the meal package as well which is particularly good value.
