TF Royal Hotel

We ate in the restaurant as a group. I ordered a chicken burger which was inedible, the chicken you could not cut it with a steak knife. It was rock hard. Very poor service. The chicken burger was taken off the bill. When I informed staff there was no apology, I was told it must have been their suppliers fault. Very poor service.

I had a meal with family in the green room. The food was lovely however the service was the worst iv come across. We were seated by a staff member in the restaurant and left there until we went looking for someone to take an order. Eventually we got someone and we ordered the special on the menu. It took about 20 minutes for them to return to say the special was all gone. That was fine we ordered sometime else. I then asked for a glass as we were short one on the table, I asked the same member of staff 3 times for the glass but it never came, I had to go to the bar and get it myself. We waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for the food to come, and it came incorrect with none of the sides we had ordered. The restaurant was practically empty and staff wandering around. Unfortunately I had the exact same experience on 3 or 4 previous occasions so there has been no improvement to the service. It was a very diaspointing experience again.

Had food in the Green Room with my friend. The starter wasn't great which was a caesar salad, the salad leaves were wilted and tasted odd. Ordered steak sandwich for my main course. It was a thin fatty piece of steak did not taste nice and had gluten free bread with it which was rock hard. I complained to the waitress and was told that was the way that gluten bread is and I said but it's actually rock hard and she just walked away with the plate which was really rude in my opinion. I am a coeliac with 30 years so I do know what gluten free bread should taste like. Worst gf bread I ever got eating out including the steak. Would not go there again for food and my friend said the same her meal was only edible. Really disappointed! Also had wine with our meal which was not chilled and was warm to drink.

My husband had his retirement in the Green Room of the TF Royal Hotel on Friday 15th. March. The venue was perfect, clean, spacious, warm, bar staff very friendly and polite. The food was exceptional, a great variety of hot finger food. Everyone enjoyed it! I want to say special thanks to Carmel Kelly who organised the night with us, she was so helpful and reassuring and guided us in the right direction.

This hotel and venue was spot on! Very tasty food, extremely friendly and efficient staff. I couldn't recommend this place more for partys & weddings. Management went completely above and beyond for us on our wedding day and i can never thank them enough for there efforts. Highly recommended Regards, Jake & Niamh

The food was absolutely gorgeous, and my family was well impressed with their choice of food too, will definitely be going back again for sure, staff was very polite and helpful, the place was lovely decorated and very clean and spaceous, the new layout is lovely.

I had a delicious meal in the Green Room, the Royal Theatre Castebar. The environs were clean and I observed the staff cleaning each table thoroughly when it was vacated. The food was well presented and hot. The staff were professional and courteous and attentive. We very much look forward to a return visit.

We went for dinner after a show but we had not reserved a table and they were full up but they gave us a clean, cozy, small function room that we could use because their was 13 of us. All staff were so helpful and pleasant and food was fab. We will definitely be back.

Went to ABBA forever with a group of friends for our Chris**as party. From when I made the booking to the actual event, Carmel was so helpful. The staff were all super friendly on the night and we all had a brilliant time. There was a really good a**osphere and we all agreed that it was a great start to the Chris**as season. Keep up the good work 🙂
