Super 8 by Wyndham Centerville-Richmond

A Billboard advertised $44. and the check in person stated those 2 rooms were taken and I mentioned it appeared to be fraudulent. I checked into the room. And someone was there with their belongings. During checkout, that person was rude and accused me of arguing with him. He said a manager would call back but nobody did.

We were traveling out of state for a funeral. Upon check-in the staff was very rude. He threw my cards back to me under the window without saying a word. A thank you would've been nice. We were given room 134. As soon as we opened the door, there were blood stains on the comforter. The sheers were dirty and stained. The soap had black scum on it as well as ***** hair. The microwave was filthy. The television didnt work. When we went to the front desk to address this, the staff said that there were workers staying in that room previously and it must not have been deep cleaned. GROSS..We were given a new room but at this point we were so grossed out we couldn't even sleep or relax.

First thing we noticed was a musty smell when we opened the door. The furniture was dated but comfortable. The TV only worked if you stood right in front of it and pushed hard on the buttons. Kinda make a remote useless. The bathroom door would not close and we had to put something in front of it for privacy. The breakfast was a joke.

They quoted one price and charged more. The bars of soap in the room were unwrapped and used. That is disgusting. Who knows who was in the room before us. I called the manager and he tried to explain it away. When we got the room, he stated the AARP discount applied. This does not make sense to me.

The beds we’re comfortable but the length of them not so good are feet hung off the ends as we are taller people the shower head was awful barely come out so it was very hard to take a good shower overall the room was clean but very outdated. Also when we booked the room we picked to pay at property upon arrival the money was taken out of are account before we arrived at property.

We appreciated that there was a room large enough to accommodate our family of 6. We did not get bed bugs. We slept safely, with our vehicle also remaining safe. It was quiet through the night. It was moldy and damp, the floors very unclean. It was difficult to know if the sheets were dirty or just damp from the humidity in the air. The toilet was clean. The shower had splatters of brown and quite a bit of grime built up. It had been patched many times. The towels were probably just old and stained, but with the state of the shower and floors, it did not leave us confident in their state of cleanliness. Late check in was easy. Check out was also easy. We would prefer to never stay there again.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! The negative reviews are accurate.... AND THEN SOME. The AC, when set at 68, would run for 5 min then kick onto HEAT and smell like it was ON FIRE! NO HOT WATER, only lukewarm. The chair was stained, the comforters were stained. THE WALLS ARE PAPER THIN I could write an entire NOVEL about that stay...and you would gasp at every turn of the page! THEN...THEN!!! Trying to get a refund was a JOKE. Wyndham in general lost my business. We travel ALOT...and will use another chain. I WILL MAKE A POINT TO USE ANOTHER CHAIN. PERIOD Never ever left a negative review this....bad/emotionally charged. It was just horrible.

Easy access to the room but ancient, stained toilet bowl, wall damage, towel bar coming off, bad smell (afraid to run A/C), blow dryer didn’t work. No interest in taking a shower there.

The room was quite large, outdated but clean. The breakfast was lackluster but available on time.
