This was my second time here and it confirmed my initial impression. In general I liked it here, that is why I went for the second time :) Descriptions of facilities on the website is excellent but reality is not as fancy as they are marketing it to be. Stuff are trying and some are genuinely nice and friendly, but some are better to avoid if you want to have a pleasant stay. In my opinion they are just overworked but it could be something else. Apartments are not looking nice and clean inside as they are looking nice from outside. Hotel rooms are nice (although I don’t see the point of the glass wall between the room and bathtub). For me there are two big aspects where they can improve. FOOD - first of all I love that they have nicely marked all allergens for everyone to see. And it is done with taste. However if you are vegetarian or vegan there is such a small option of what you can eat. For the standard of the hotel they are, they should definitely offer bigger option of vegan food, especially nowadays when there are many people opting for a healthy lifestyle. Of course, they offer salats and fruits - all cold from the fridge?! But cooked options are VERY limited. One day for dinner we were able to eat french fries or mash potatoes from whole menu. And some guest used the spoon from the meatballs to serve himself meshed potatoes, so that was out as an option. So my suggestion is to SEPARATE vegetarian/vegan menu from non-veg as a must and to broaden variety of dishes for vegan/vegetarian guests. One more thing - Yoga. 3 mornings in the week they offer ‘yoga and mindfulness’ that is lead by fitness trainer. Stretching and yoga are two different things! So called yoga teacher doesn’t know what yoga is or how to teach it, or how to correct people who have problems, and in this way he is representing yoga in wrong light. Some people come to terme because they have problems, and they come to yoga and they can get hurt by non-experienced teacher. He is good fitness trainer and very charismatic, and for his and guests benefit, he should stick to what he knows well. Again stretching and exercise is not yoga. So my suggestion is either employ a qualified yoga teacher or change the name from ‘yoga and mindfulness’ to ‘morning stretching’ or something similar. One nice thing they implemented this year is, if you opt for not changing your bedsheet or towels for a day, you get a free warm drink in a bar (smiley) Eco-conscious improvement.
