Meadhon Guest House

We stayed here for 2 nights and can’t praise this experience enough. First off free on street parking right outside the door and then a lovely genuine welcome from Amanda &Rob. The room was spotless and really nicely decorated with a fabulous view over the gardens and hills beyond. The bed was huge and super comfy and the pillows were lovely. Nice touches like an ironing board and fan in the room if needed. Breakfast was brilliant , so fresh and tasty. If you need gluten free food then that is no problem and again a nice touch that gluten free cereal brought out and then put away so no cross contamination. It was a 2 minute walk into the city centre and the honesty snack box was much needed on the way back from the pub. Owners were lovely and were genuinely interested where we had been and what we had been up to that day. They found out it was my wife’s birthday when we were there and when we came back that night there was a box of chocolates and card on the bed. Overall a fantastic B & B and would thoroughly recommended staying here. We will be back !!

Rob and Amanda are so welcoming we could have talked with them for hours . The room we had was number 4 an extra large very comfortable bed we had a lovely view and the room had everything you could possibly need and was spotlessly clean . The breakfast was delicious and plentiful we couldn’t have asked for a better B&B.

What an absolutely fantastic stay! The B&B is spotlessly clean, very tastefully decorated and sooo comfortable through out. Everything we needed was there, the super king bed was very very comfortable. They even have an honesty box with water, crisps and chocolate for any midnight munchies. Breakfast is a pre-order which worked perfectly for us. It was beautifully cooked, perfectly presented - all local produce. Cannot emphasis how wonderful our hosts were. They were there with a warm friendly greeting. They clearly love what they do, take time to chat, have a bit of a joke and just make you feel really comfortable. The view from the bathroom (Room 1) was stunning. Picture attached. I will be back with my husband in the future. Thanks Amanda & Rob! Xxx

We spent one night at Meadhom Guest House and it was simply charmimg. Rob and Amanda were warm, friendly and inviting. The room was clean and well equipped. Breakfast as expected was simple but good. Would very much highly recommend at any time

The welcome was friendly, the whole place was clean, tidy and well maintained, the bedroom was comfortable, thebreakfasts were well cooked and presented. Overall a most pleasant stay.

This guest house is exceptional. You’ll find none better!! Amanda and Rob are the best hosts. So friendly and made us feel very welcome. Our room was gorgeous(room5). A lovely large bright room with en-suite bathroom and the biggest bed!! So cosy and comfy. The home cooked breakfast was fabulous. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area!!

Centrally located beautiful guesthouse in the quiet town of Jedburgh. Wonderful hosts and exceptionally comfortable. Great breakfast.

Rob and Amanda were beyond amazing. Very helpful and courteous. The house was immaculate and food exceptional. Will highly recommend.

I had an excellent 2 night stay with Amanda and Rob who are the friendliest people who can’t do enough for you. My room was very comfortable, very clean and the location is great, very central. Breakfast was excellent and I highly recommend anyone to stay here.
