The room was quite dirty and we spotted a cockroach during our stay. Service was good, but cleanliness can be improved.

Decent, comfortable short stay. Note that there are 2 buildings (a hotel and a serviced residence - you'll be staying among people who actually live there). Room was clean and had basic necessities, but with obvious need for maintenance (stuff were peeling, shower head didn't work). Room came with a kitchenette that had no dishwashing liquid. Pool was small. Breakfast was good and had enough options, staff were very friendly and helpful.

Booked the 2 room apartment (residences side). Pros: The view from the room was good with 2 balconies with 2 large beds and 2 toilets. We enjoyed the variety served at the breakfast buffet, the food was replaced timely as well. Thumbs up. Cons: Cleanliness could be improved greatly. Saw other reviews that the hotel side is better. Saw 2 cockroaches in the room during our stay. The bed and towels were clean so we were satisfied- however, the door’s laminate was peeling, there was dust and webs at every corner, dirty mirrors, cigarette ashes at the corner of the dressing table, etc. My family was not picky so this sufficed for us and we had an alright stay.

It's was a service apartment rather then hotel. need to walk a distance to lift lobby. Overall is good.

We book junior suite but not at the Hotel is at the residence. The lift ABIT slow even though there's two lifts. The review for breakfast was good . But the spread is a lot but the food now warm. The mee now tasty. Donut ABIT hard ..the cakes not soft ..staff helpful ..since we go early at 6.30am some of the food is not at the buffet table....all the food is on induction cooker but is not warm ....

Recently I stayed at the Aston Batam hotel and residences. The room is big and clean. Location wise is good as well. Will definitely come again.

The best ever hotel, the facilities and service was great! You guys should try to check in here. Very comfy. And the staff very kind!

Very new and clean hotel. Breakfast spread was ok but the seats are too limited for a weekend crowd. The kids enjoy the spacious room with bath tub in the family room. Overall it’s worth staying and we will be back soon. Thank you.

I have booked 2 nights in 2 different rooms from separate bookings to try this hotel after so many good reviews from this hotel. The front desk is good and all could speak english. 1st night in the family room with 3 beds.. room is clean and big. Water pressure is strong and with very good hot water. My second night is in a 2-bedroom apartment that is extremely disappointed. It is totally 2 different standards. The 2 bedroom apartment is a separate building.. when we checked in the 2 bedroom apartment, we spotted a big dead cockroach beside the table, and we don't feel comfortable and requested to change room back to main hotel building but too bad is fully booked. . We managed to get another 2 bedroom apartment that cleaner.. but in the morning, I saw a tiny cockroach moving around on your bedside and bathroom. No hot water in the morning, lift and lobby no aircon... So, in conclusion, only the hotel building is up to standard.. Got to reconsider whether to book if we go batam again as we worried that we will be given sub-standard room.
