A great location and a perfect view from the hotel room that we had. The service was good, a great breakfast and a nice pint of beer. All in all, this is a recommend and it did take us by surprise how decent it was for our one night stay.

The property was ok bed was comfortable .food was lovely.car parking was on a first come basis.hotel a bit dated but our stay fine.

We didn’t expect too much as this was one of the cheapest rooms in a very over priced market and we weren’t disappointed The twin room was small in the corridor off the lounge bar. There was damp or water damage to a corner wall. The entrance to the bathroom was very narrow and the shower cubicle tiny Twin beds were reasonably comfortable and clean as were the towels Carpets were stained and lamp’s hadn’t been dusted in a while Because the room was small it held the heat from the radiator but the bathroom was freezing despite the heated towel rail The hotel appears to be going through some refurbishment. Our daughter’s single room was small comfortable with a sea view. Shower didn’t get hot at all and because the window didn’t close properly revellers could be heard until early morning Staff were lovely and friendly. Position of hotel was ideal lovely view from the lounge bar

Staff very friendly, nice bar for a drink or two over looking the bay. Very easy access. Room needs upgrading badly and dusting (above soap & light fixings ).

Very friendly staff, excellent customer service, clean rooms and comfortable, so much around in walking distance.

Staff were very friendly, the hotel is tired and condition a bit mixed but clean enough. Pillows on bed were too hard for our liking though!

Ok hotel close too port and pubs shopping room was ok but double bed wasn’t a double just a bit bigger than a single had too sleep at bottom so my partner could fit in the top end was very uncomfortable

Excellent value for money, will be back at those prices. No fuss, Down to Earth! Spacious and clean with everything needed for an excellent break

One of many old vintage hotels in the town and must be so expensive to maintain and keep going in modern times. Hotel has much grandeur and features. We had rooms overlooking the sea which were magnificent as the lightning changed every 10 minutes. I wouldn't want a rear view. Rooms were warm and had to turn down the radiators. If you want a new and squeaky clean hotel then try for a new build, well if you won't find one and if you did they won't be around in another hundred years like this grand old lady. Loved the revolving door.

Very chatty and friendly reception. Bed and bedding was very comfortable and clean. Rather dated and old fashioned ba rather useless television but overall it is a good old lady of a building.

The staff were all really helpful and kind and itwas in a great place. however the room and the upper floor had obviously been leaking for a long time. The window was unsafe and falling out and there was plaster falling off the walls in the corridor outside our room and our ceiling. It was tatty and looked uncared for.

Hotel beginning to show its age, however rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast options were good and staff were very helpful throughout stay.
