The hotel is amazing : the room the service it was all just perfect until we have try the dinner buffet , R1500 + %18 tax for poor selection of mediocre food , Just because it's the only hotel in town dose not make it right to over charge your gusts for a poor dinner

We were so impressed with this beautiful property where we were supposed to stay 1 night, but ended up staying 2. Tranquil, well appointed, outstanding service, exceptional food, magical, beautiful rooms. Nice pool area to escape to as well as sitting areas all over the courtyard with gorgeous plants.

This was not the most luxurious hotel we had in Rajasthan, but it was for sure the most beautiful hotel/experience. We had a very large suite with the living room upstairs. Everything was furnished and decorated nicely. There was everything in the room one could wish for. But the real beauty was in the garden which is being kept with so much love. It is extremely beautiful. Luckily we had a lot of time to enjoy it in the afternoon and in the evening. We also had the pleasure to enjoy a very nice massage. There was a music perfor***ce in the evening, just for us. Beautiful view from the rooftop over the river and the landscape. There is an inviting pool, but it was too cold for us in January… The staff was excellent and the food delicious. Even though we were only the two of us we had a very large and fantastic breakfast buffet in the morning. I would recommend everyone on the road from Jodhpur to Udaipur to have a stop here and enjoy a peaceful day or two.

Our favourite hotel on a recent trip to India that saw us stay at a range of heritage hotels. On the face of it, less luxurious than other places we stayed at – but so full character and charm that it more than made up for any unnecessary frills. The property is arranged around a beautiful central garden and several other courtyards, one of which includes the swimming pool. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and the whole place is presided over by a seasoned ***ager who seems across every little detail. In our experience, this tends to be the biggest difference between so-so and truly memorable hotels. While the area around Rohet Garh doesn't - at first sight - have that much to offer, we actually wish we had had more time to explore it. The Village Safari is most certainly a must.

What an amazing property with great heritage. The staff were mostly very friendly and helpful. The hotel ***ager was fantastic and attended to each guest individually. Everything was great for our stay there except the morning breakfast. The spread was really catering to the non-Indian guests. That is the only thing I think they need to improve on else it was a great stay. Keep up the great work!

Property is Nice. My review about the Address information in website google is wrong. I am travel agent i belong to travel domain from past 15 years. If we are making a booking with Resort (property directly) its property responsibility to advise the address if the Main office address is mentioned in Resort wesbite. The reason why i am upset because the whole staff is blaming me for this and not understanding whats wrong is going on the wesbite and on google serch. I asked several times hotel staff to provide me the voucher and she said to create my own voucher. 1) They dont have address information the relavent property you are booking in their signature. 2) The office address is mentioned in their wesbite not the property address. 3) I serched on Google Rohat Garh Jodhpur again it shows me the office address. Result my Guest reached to the OFFICE ADDRESS. The whole staff is playing us like a chessboard game. I do not like the behaviour of the entire staff. Wrong is wrong. Update your website or provide a voucher to your agent. As per me the experience was ZERO just because of this client shouted on us and future relation is also spoiled. thank you for WRONG BEHAVIOUR AND SERVICE.

Robert Gahr is set in a fort in a desert village 40 kms from Jodphur. It is contrast to the bustle of Jodphur and contains beautiful gardens, fountains , an extensive grassed courtyard and a pool. It’s next to a lake across from a small local temple. From our room we could watch peacocks nest in the evening outside our room and there were ***y water birds on the lake. The room was situated next to veran*** with a covered outdoor lounging area, which then looked out to the gardens of the courtyard. It was decorated beautifully in local fabrics, cushions and mats and came with a living area and each large window incorporated a daybed to lounge upon. Breakfast was served in the downstairs restaurant and dinner at night on the roof.

Last minute booking due to being let down elsewhere. Beautiful character hotel with great staff. It was Diwali and the owner and his family made the effort to greet all guests. The photos make it out to be a pristine Dubal style place. It isn’t - it’s better than that because it’s old and authentic and full of character.

Well situated little oasis away from the centre of town. Comfortable rooms, good food and consistent service. Lovely gardens with peaceful ambiance. Relaxing atmosphere with pretty gardens and a good sized swimming pool. This is the 2nd of 3 family owned properties in Jaisalmer. The 1st being Roget House and the 3rd situated in the desert.
