Bequia Beach Hotel - Luxury Resort

We stayed for the first time at Bequia Beach Hotel. The hotel was reasonably quiet as it was out of high season which suited us. When I complete a review I like to be honest. The hotel grounds with Jacks Bar ( taxi service away) and Sands bar ( along the hotel beach) worked really well and the swimming pools were lovely and very warm. We had a classic room so it was up the 46 steps however the view was really worth it as you could see the sea and surrounding hills. We did ask for a television. The Blue Tropic restaurant although a limited menu was delightful and everything we would expect from a restaurant. They are to be commended. The staff at the hotel were friendly and willing to help which they did! Unfortunately due to our flight getting in late from Heathrow our luggage did not arrive until the following day, so make sure you pack an overnight case in case this happens to you. Our main disappointment was the main restaurant Bagatelle. This definitely is not a five star hotel as the food in the main restaurant was really not up to the standard you would expect. There was no leadership to the team and the food apart from a couple of nights was really disappointing. The desert menu stayed the same for the two weeks. The actual restaurant could do with a refit and the process of breakfast really does not work if you have a cooked eggs etc. , the table legs were full of sand and rusty and it just did not present itself as a 5 star dining facility. If the hotel sorts out and improves the main restaurant it would then achieve a 5 star rating.

The property is gorgeous! The food is outstanding! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful! And the bar tenders created yummy cocktails! Our visit was very relaxing and refreshing. I also had a massage at the spa. Can’t wait to return soon!

Staff is warm and very helpful, premisses are clean as a whistle, food is tasty and varied at all three venues, on the beach, location is windward and close to the Island center. In short, all was perfect. How often can one write this ? I certainly recommend this hotel ! Andre G. Montreal, Canada

We stayed at Bequia Beach in a beachfront suite in May 2024. Rum Punch and soft drink on arrival. Tastefully decorated suite on the beach so that you can go to sleep to the sound of the waves. The grounds are constantly maintained and are stunning. Very quiet pool areas and the sunbeds are comfortable. A new beach bar is a short walk down the beach. Staff were very friendly and approachable. Rima was very helpful...lovely lady who obviously enjoys her job. All the restaurant staff etc were great. Iif i had to find a criticism.....bagatelle may be looking a bit tired. Aapart from one evening the food was excellent. Menu may be a bit small for some people but there was usually something for everyone. There is Bug spray provided in the suites. Coffee/tea making facilities with fresh cream provided each day. Fresh water in the room each day. Beach towels available each day. Overall ...excellent

This hotel is top tier. The staff is absolutely amazing, every last one of them. A special shoutout to the girls in reception. I was celebrating my birthday in Bequia. Upon arrival we were allowed early check-in which we weren't expecting but so grateful for. The staff at the pool was friendly, we got coconuts from the tree. Kevin actually climbed the tree and got them for guests. The wait staff was so kind. On my birthday I got a hand written card and a bottle of wine, which was so cute. Upon checkout they sent us off with a handwritten card signed by the staff and they waved us goodbye in the sunset after late checkout. AMAZING. STAY HERE!!!!

My husband and I have spent a week at BBH. Our friends recommended this place and it definitely did not disappoint. The hotel and grounds are absolutely beautiful - very nice, relaxed and authentic, without feeling too touristy. The room (we had one of the ocean suites) is excellent - big size, gorgeous decor and sea views. I loved reading books on the sun lounger outside of the room. The grounds are really well kept - pools are gorgeous and everyone is really friendly. We have eaten at Bagatelle and Blue Tropic - both were fine and food was nice but we ended up eating out a lot as liked the local options and trying something different during the stay. Breakfast was really nice - loved the smoothies, the eggs were fab - you really have a good choice of whatever you wanted (unsure why some reviews had issue with breakfast?!) Shout out to Sand Bar - which we really enjoyed! Nice stroll on the beach, it’s very chilled, lovely atmosphere and not too busy. We preferred this to Jack’s to be completely honest - their spot is excellent but customer service is not as a good as BBH. Finally, want to say a huge thank you to Rima and her team. They have been absolutely outstanding - nothing has ever been an issue, they helped us with booking taxis and restaurants and anything we needed really. Always with a smile on their face. Could not have received a more excellent service - thank you so much! We will definitely be back and would highly recommend BBH to anyone considering it. You will not be disappointed!

This is an excellent and very special venue. Our bungalow was spacious, clean and comfortable. The food was consistently outstanding. The beautiful, natural beach is a joy to walk along. You can always easily get towels ands sun loungers both on the beach and by the pool. The service was great. Thank you for a memorable experience:-)

A beautiful and relaxing place with a lovely unspoilt beach. The atmosphere is so peaceful and the staff are wonderful. There are no jet skis or tour reps to spoil the tranquil environment. The food is excellent as are the rooms and we really could not find any fault with this hotel.

An excellent boutique resort, and a fabulous location. Nicely laid out, and the rooms are all in buildings no more than three stories high. The beach can sometimes be a little rough because of its exposure to open ocean but the water is clear and beautiful and is great for swimming, the food is excellent. We rarely left the resort to eat someplace else because the menu was diverse and delicious.
