Club Tarahal

The apar**ent staff was very helpful with booking rides and local activities. The view from the room was amazing. The downside it is a little dated as far as not having any ac and beds being very hard. Also no elevator. Only steps Otherwise I would stay again.

I had a lovely stay at Club Tarahal. Location is excellent and the staff were kind and helpful. My compliments to Miriam and her colleague at the reception as well as to house keeping, that did an excellent job. Super clean. 👌 I hope they are all well appreciated by management! Some apar**ents need a makeover of the kitchen. But generally fine. Well equipped! My only buts are the carving knives as well as the size of the bed, only 190 cm long. Perfect for me travelling solo, but had we been two normal-sized Scandinavians it would have been a challenge. Again, excellent staff that makes a difference 💐

Appartement a bit old but the view was great from the apar**ent as well as from the pool. Very good reactivity from the reception as well. Could find a parking lot with no issue. I recommend.

Brilliant apar**ent good area liked how they left bedding towels ect at ur door do ur own cleaning also apar**ent had a washing machine

The place was lovely, people very friendly, we came late to check in and found a bottle of water on the table which we desperate needed, it saved us! Also bottle of wine which was very nice. The building was looking calming that you wanted to stroll around, get to swimming pool or just sit on a tarace, children could be there for all day. Definitely we will return there.

It was clean and quite. Nice area and view to both sides.

We stayed March 2022 in a two bed apar**ent. Very clean and quite spacious; we were three adults. We didn’t use the kitchen as we ate out. Useful to have fridge and washing machine. Parking was easy, either in the free car park or on the roadside nearby. I like the key pad entry for late arrival. Nice to have a pool even though it’s quite small and not many sun loungers. Enough for off season but I imagine it’s not enough in the summer or when the apar**ents are busier. Nice to have a balcony to sit on. Lovely view of the mountain from our apar**ent. Some restaurants are an easy 5-10 min walk from the apar**ent and it’s about a 30 min walk into the main town; quite uphill on the return walk but doable! Negative points: apar**ent was quite tricky to find in the dark late at night as it wasn’t labelled on the map and tricky to see signs in the dark. Apar**ent very dated. Very uncomfortable bed with lumpy mattress. Sofa seated two people only but the apar**ent slept six. Sofa also very very uncomfortable with hard bits poking out when you sit on it. Not enough towels given for bathroom use and swimming pool use. You’re not informed beforehand to bring a swimming towel. We had an unexpected linen change mid week (it stated we wouldn’t get one) and even fewer towels were left after this; just one bath towel each and one hand towel overall. Previously we were given a hand towel and a bath towel each so we just used the hand towel at the pool. Not ideal when it’s a bit chilly! Apar**ent generally quite cold so towel didn’t dry overnight. Bathroom very dated. Shower curtain in bath for shower (this is dated and not great). Big problem with hot water supply and shower; you either have lukewarm water but enough water to wash in or a dribble of hot water. Not ideal at all. Parts of you that aren’t under the shower water are quite cold as it wasn’t that warm and the apar**ent is cold and there’s not enough hot water for a steamy bathroom. The bar and restaurant is no longer functioning and are not open. The patio door to the balcony had a large ***** falling off it, however we were still able to lock the patio door. One evening there was a lot of noise from other guests: whilst this isn’t the fault of the apar**ent company, the walls are very thin and you hear a lot of noise from neighbouring apar**ents: people getting the sofa bed ready every night for example. Not supplied with enough toilet rolls for three people for nine days. A very average apar**ent in need of modernisation and repair. I left in need of a good hot shower and a comfortable quiet warm night’s sleep - not what holidays are about. For the money, there will be better places to stay in this area. This apar**ent needs modernising to be worth the money.

Initially given an apar**ent that was very old fashioned with poorly fitting kitchen units that had ants in one and a very unpleasant smell. Front door knob very close to door frame posing a health and safety risk as fingers could become trapped trying to close door. No British TV channels apart from BBC News. Reported these issues to reception and although friendly they failed to pass our concerns on. Informed that ants expected however, they agreed to offer us an alternative apar**ent. Toilet cistern in second apar**ent not working properly and no kitchen sink stopper. Very noisy in mornings due to cleaning/maintenance from adjoining apar**ent.

no one on reception when we got there, kitchen was outdated and the grill blew the electricity out so couldn't use that, the toaster wasn't much better and couldn't get hold of anyone to report it. the second bedroom didn't have any wardrobes you had to use the closet in the hallway and the bed linen was worn. the swimming pool wasn't heated and no air conditioning, the only thing this place has got is it looks great from the outside. also was only given 1 set of keys so if you wanted to split up for the day you had to arrange a time back at the front gate. not good either.
