Pineta Pastry Hotel

A friendly family run hotel with fantastic food and well stocked bar. We returned to the Pineta because we remembered how good the meals were last year. Great location for the Marmolada slopes, the ski bus stops outside the hotel and there is plenty of car parking space.

It was a great stay, very nice familie, the food was excellent. The Welness very nice and large, with all the possibilities. Parking in front of the hotel and we had enough places to play some cards at night with the family! Really one of the best hotels we have ever been to.

We stayed half board for a week in this fabulous hotel. The food was amazing, a real highlight with so much choice and all the staff were very friendly. Our room was a good size and really clean. The hotel was in a good location with a short drive to the ski slopes. I agree with their motto "The Dolomites best kept secret"

Exceptional, family hotel with amazing atmosphere and delicious breakfast and dinner! It was my second time in Pineta Pastry Hotel and again everything was perfect. I appreciate very kind contact with the stuff, always smiling and ready to help. Rooms are clean and big enough. Great location for skiing! I will come back!

We’re a couple who love to walk long trails in the mountains. We normally walk hut-to-hut but this year we decided to treat ourselves to a bit more luxury. I think we got the jackpot! You come to Pineta Pastry for the food! Every morning the breakfast was the best I’ve ever experienced in Italy. So many varieties of croissant, pastry, torte, salami, cheese. I have a dairy intolerance and there was even vegan croissants on offer! This is going above and beyond to cater for those of us who usually get forgotten about. We had booked half board and I’m very thankful we did! Excellent value for money. Four courses every evening, with something new every evening over seven nights. The quality of food was 5*! And again the chef made variations that were DF for me. That was very appreciated. The hotel staff were welcoming friendly and very helpful. They take pride in their hotel. It feels like it is more than just a job. You feel like you’re being welcomed into their family. Location: it was perfect for us as we wanted to walk sections of the AV 2 but also have some variety. The wellness centre was very welcoming after a long day walking. Hot and cold tubs, sauna etc. For hikers with transport, I would recommend walking Malga Ciapela to Penia via Passo Ombretta (check buses back to Malga Ciapela!), a day’s walking from the top of Sasso Pordoi is also a must. You can leave your car at Passo pordoi and get the cable car up, walking back via the Sacario Germanico. Fascinating history! We had a day of thunder and lightening so we stayed low and walked to Alleghe and back. Beautiful little town on the edge of a lake. Cable car in the shadow of Mt Civetta is stunning. The little village of Suttoguada just up the valley a couple of miles, is worth a visit. It’s beautiful. A very good pizzeria there! Unfortunately all the trails on the south side of the valley from Pineta Pastry have been closed since being damaged by a storm a few years ago. There’s a lot of reconstruction work going on atm. It meant the walking from the door of the hotel was limited. Not sure for how long. As a couple we normally never return to an a hotel we’ve already been to, but like to try new places. However I would definitely return to Pineta Pastry. Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful holiday.

This is a beautiful hotel. The staff were lovely. The food was great. I had contacted them before our arrival to organise a birthday cake for one of our party during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and the cake was lovely. Matteo helped us with visiting sights and making our stay very pleasurable. The spa was beautiful. Our room had windows quite high up which was not great but did not deter from the overall stay. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. While there was not a great deal around the hotel it is well placed for touring this part of the Dolomites.

Liebe Familie Nesello, wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in Ihrem familiären Hotel, das sehr liebevoll dekoriert ist. Das Essen und die Pastries waren super lecker und alle sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Vielen Dank.

Questo hotel è gestito dalla stessa famiglia da tanti anni, e si vede: gli spazi sono ben organizzati e ogni angolo è curato nei dettagli .Tutta la struttura è molto pulita; c' è sempre qualcuno in grado di rispondere a eventuali domande; arrivare in ritardo sull' orario del check-in ( causa traffico imprevisto) non è stato un problema. La rilassante atmosfera familiare ,che permette di sentirsi subito in vacanza,si estende a tutto il personale: molto attento,gentile,disponibile a venire incontro alle piccole esigenze di turisti oltre i 60 . La camera e in generale tutta la struttura corrispondono alle foto sui vari siti on line: abbiamo.prenotato una delle junior suite, dotata di un buon letto, doppio balcone ,armadiatura adeguata,frigo,sedie,tavolino,scrivania,tv,doppi cuscini come avevamo richiesto:pur essendo vicina alla strada è molto silenziosa. Bagno super pulito. Altro punto di forza,la vetrina dei dolci ,per uno spuntino o una golosa conclusione della cena, che viene servita in base alle scelte effettuate sull' interessante menù mostrato a colazione . La colazione ! È molto completa con reparto salato caldo( uova sode e strapazzate, bacon, wurstel) e freddo (salumi vari e formaggi locali più sottaceti,sottoli). C' è poi una bella varietà di dolci come brioche gourmet,biscotti secchi ,krapfen ,muffin, cereali da colazione, marmellate, frutta fresca, succhi ,bevande calde erogate da un buon distributore che non ha mai fatto i capricci.😉 Se si vuole conoscere qualche particolare del comprensorio, Matteo sarà in grado di raccontare con passione e competenza le caratteristiche del territorio. Per concludere, in questo hotel si è mantenuta la tradizione dell' ospitalità discreta ma completa,tanto che torneremo per visitare quei luoghi naturali e storici che la neve ,pur bellissima ,ora ricopre; noi lo abbiamo scelto per ammirare la Terrazza sulla Marmolada,uno dei panorami più belli delle Dolomiti, grazie alla cabinovia raggiungibile in pochi minuti di macchina . Ps: per noi era il primo soggiorno ma per i nostri vicini di tavolo era il decimo : anche questo particolare lo conferma come un hotel affidabile da tempo.

nel complesso si è concretizzato in un Buon soggiorno, la cortesia dei giovani gestori è stata ottima come la cena, la colazione buona ma può migliorare. Nota dolente la camera, anche se concessa con la formula economy, in ogni caso è un quattro stelle, un minimo di personalità deve averla, per non parlare del bagno assolutamente non all'altezza. Un grado in più in camera l'avrei gradito, ma sposando il Green può andare bene. La SPA anche qui ottima l'assistenza del personale ma non ho percepito quel calore ed atmosfera per un momento veramente rilassante.
