superbe hôtel en centre ville, personnel au top et chaleureux, confort chambre très bien, tout y es je recommande .

Good hotel at a very good price. Why pay over the prices when all you need is a bed and something to eat. I never star location because it depends on different factors for different people.This hotel was good value and I would stay there again.

Spent only one night during a road trip. Nice and clean hotel.

Everything was great, except for the aloof, rude, & indifferent attitude of the reception on checkout. I don’t think she has any customer service skills. She needs to learn how to use her facial muscles to crack a smile!

The hotel is surviving the Covid crisis with touring coach parties and apart from 2 coach groups we were the only private guests. We dined alone in the restaurant in the evening, and were expected to share the adjacent dining room, with the coach guests at breakfast which in the end we declined. Many guests in the room and a breakfast buffet we felt was a Covid risk. Our room was very clean, large, the beds comfortable and the bathroom modern. The staff were very friendly, helpful and the owner spoke German, having come from the Alsace. The small town is very interesting and attractive and the next morning we were able to purchase local vegetables and cheese at the small market. In the town strict Covid restrictions were in place, and a walk, before bed, revealed it to be deserted.

Our room was a little bit strangely decorated but quite large. The bathroom was also spacious and rather dated in decoration but was OK. The staff were pleasant and the breakfast was fine - in a large breakfast room on the ground floor. The hotel also has a restaurant around the quieter side of the hotel which seemed to be quite popular. Price for the room was very reasonable. St Geniez is a lovely little town and we were really surprised to discover how nice the old town near the bridge over the Lot is. Unfortunately the hotel is in a less interesting part of the town, though there is a pleasant square next to the hotel with parking that seemed to be easily available. Our room overlooked a fairly busy through road but we were not bothered by noise.

Il y a chez eux, 2 gros problèmes : le 1er c’est de tromper les clients sur une chambre avec un lit double, en réalité c’était simplement 2 lits rapprochés, ce n’est vraiment pas sérieux et c’est tout simplement malhonnête ! Le 2e un petit déjeuné couteux en mettant à disposition des croissants absolument immangeable, ils sont dur et sans aucun goût, c’est une véritable honte, 3 étoiles, chercher l’erreur. Autrement le personnel est très correct.

Nous avons mangé au restaurant de l’hôtel de France hier soir et c’était juste DIVIN ! La truite était d’une fraîcheur incroyable, bien cuite, la chair bien fine ! Le Tian de légumes était sublime et le tiramisu parfait !!! La tarte Tartin sublime aussi… on recommande vivement !
